replacement of our original
The gasket at the bottom of the base wears out after a time. This replacement gives the unit a renewed speed and does a much better job.

Perfect replacement, great price
This product was the perfect replacement for my vintage Waring Blender. All I needed was the glass, but it came with the blade and lid, and was the best price I could find. Celebrating the fast shipping with a home-made Margarita!

Beware of the center piece in the lid/
I love my waring blender but only gave the glass container three stars because the clear plastic piece in the lid has broken twice. The first time Amazon replaced the whole container after about 10 months and now after just a few months the new one has broken. Waring definitely has a lid problem! I have not bothered to let Amazon know this time because they will probably think I have abused it but I wash it by hand, have not put hot liquid into it and never put it in the dishwasher.

gasket fall out easily
this is ok but I dont like that the gasket comes out so easily. it falls out and gets lost or damaged. it would be better if the rubber was just a part of the lid itself and didnt come out.
