This presentation book is of superior quality, and absolutely worth the investment.I had done an enormous amount of research re: portfolio options as a graphic designer, and found a few recommendations for Pina Zangaro. I purchased my Pina Zangaro Machina 11x17 presentation book in June 2010. It's truly gorgeous - so sleek, modern, and clean. I would (and have) recommend this product to anyone who's in the market for a way to showcase their work.I purchased a 25pk off-brand page protectors from a different site as I did find some a little cheaper than the Pina Zangaro brand. I have about 10-12 of the protectors in there now but if I wanted to add many more I think I would need to purchase the screw extenders.I've gotten many compliments on this presentation book, even during interviews. :) It really is gorgeous. Eventually I would like to get my name laser etched on the outside.One final note, please be aware of how large this book actually is! It is 17 inches long closed, and double that when opened so it is quite big when laid out on a desk. If I could go back and buy it again, I might get the 14" long book. But I am completely, 100% satisfied with my purchase.

This book is amazing. I recently finished a graphic design degree and needed a portfolio. If you want yours to stand out, look no further. Every single person I showed it to was almost more thrilled with the book than with what was inside of it, almost. If you are looking for a professional and unique (but CERTAINLY not tacky) option, look no further. Seriously.There are 2 small reasons that this product did not receive 5 stars.1) Finger prints. Finger prints. Finger prints. Every single time I handle this I have to polish it, for a while.2) Its a little bit flimsy, according to my dial caliper, it is .045 in. thick. Which sounds worse than it is. The book is not incredibly flimsy, but a little bit flexible.In retrospect, I wish I would have bought one size smaller, once it is open it is VERY wide (close to 37 inches). The posts that come with it will hold about 30 pages, if I was to guess. And don't forget to purchase a way to mount your pages within.

Nice and sturdy for years of collecting a child's memorable items as they grow. The 11x17 is large enough to fit their papers and craft items made in school. I would have given it 5 stars, but it only had two holes for the binding screws and posts. I had to drill out the center hole.

I bought this to use for my photography portfolio from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. It worked perfectly and I think it will last for a long time; top notch construction! I passed on the laser engraving that you can get from Pina Zangaro's website, but I think that would be a very nice addition. By storing this in the plastic case that it comes in I haven't gotten any scratches on it. I highly recommend this for students and professionals! I purchased the  Pina Zangaro 11" x 14" Landscape Flex-Hinge Polyester Sheet Protectors - 10 Sheets  to hold my photos and they worked out very well.

I bought this to go on interviews and have received compliments on the quality. Like other reviewers I will say that it scuffed easily and shows fingerprints. I had to polish it before every interview. However, the construction is fairly sturdy, pages are easy to change out and the quality is excellent.

Bought this for my undergraduate print portfolio. It is very sleek, professional looking, and lightweight. It kind of reminds me of Apple products. Easy to insert the hole-punched pages. The only surprise with this product was the size: it was larger than I expected. If I were to buy it again I'd go for the 11x14 size. But I'm very happy with it, and people compliment me on it regularly.

I really like the look of this, but I haven't figured out the proper way to clean it yet. Everything I do smudges.

The only issue I have is the fact that the screws leave marks on the inside front and back covers of the book. Would be nice if the screws had rubberized ends or some other feature to prevent this.
