Great paper for basic projects
I purchased two packages of this paper to make waterbomb bases to cover individual lights on string lighting for our daughter's wedding. The paper worked very well for this purpose. The glowing, colored cubes were gorgeous and we received many, many compliments on them. The paper is crisper (less soft) than many other types of origami paper I've used, but it holds folds well. The larger size was perfect for my purposes. I used the red, yellow, orange, and purple papers for my project. Some of the colors are a little different than what is shown in the photo online. The yellow and orange were a little less bright and the purple was darker. The colors in one of the packages was more true to the photo than the other. The pieces of paper weren't all perfectly square but they worked fine for me for this purpose. All in all, I was pleased and would definitely order again.

Good size, but not so easy to work with for complex projects
I was disappointed in this paper. I'm not sure how to describe this paper, but it does not feel very sturdy - almost like newsprint. My origami fiend is selecting some very complicated projects and this paper cannot stand up to them. I have torn several sheets while creasing folds (so if I'm trying to crease from left to right, the paper has torn vertically in between my hands). For projects requiring many folds (e.g., caterpillars, fireworks, springs, balls) and reverse folds (e.g., 50+ folds) this paper cannot stand up to it - it turns to mush and won't hold the creases. In contrast, some of the 6x6 paper I have can hold up to this quite well, as can some giant Crayola sheets I have from years ago. Also, I found the colors to be dull (as in not vibrant). This is overstating it, but the characteristics of the paper, as well as the way the colors show remind me a bit of newsprint. Also, because of its weight/durability, it does not work well for flying projects (airplanes, ninja stars, boomerangs) - it is both too light to fly properly, and does not hold the tight tucks and shapes needed to provide stability - it produces floppy models.Last, my pet peeve is that one of the 10 colors is brown, which is everyone's last choice for papers. So I have 50 sheets of brown paper. Ugh.

Good Paper at a great price
I am doing 1,000 origami cranes which can get quite expensive. And I have bought quite a lot of different types of origami paper including some very fine papers made in japan. I decided to get myself a big pack so I could crank out the cranes. This paper is very reasonably priced and well made. It feels very much like construction paper but thinner, it has that slightly fibrous and soft feeling that construction paper has. And I really like the 8 inch square size. This is my preferred working size. This is perfect if you want a lot of paper cut very crisply at a very fair price. This is working paper and I don't recommend it if you want to do very complex folds or if you want to make show pieces.About the folding:This paper will give you decent folding but it won't give you the crispest folds that the more expensive paper will give you. It does take moisture very easily so if you practice wet folding you only need moisten it very sparingly.

Good for origami that doesn't require multiple fine folds
These nice, large, well cut sheets are perfect for making origami that doesn't required a lot of folding since they are a little heavy. We first used them for a Peace Crane project with children and the kids did extremely well with them. It was easy for them to do because of the size and the sturdiness of the sheets. In fact, a lot of adults saw the fun the kids were having and they jumped in too and did almost as well. For myself, I used them as practice sheets and to experiment.

Great practice paper
I bought this paper to fold origami boxes. It has a nice assortment of color, folds well, and is relatively inexpensive as far as origami paper is concerned.I recommend it highly for practice paper and for "fun" paper. It has enough thickness for origami boxes. The boxes are quite sturdy. A lot of "bulk" paper is too thin for boxes. This paper doesn't have that problem. This paper is colored with the same color on both sides. This works well for many boxes. However, be aware that in box or modular origami, you often want paper colored on only 1 side (or colored differently on each side). Certain designs benefit greatly by the contrast.

Great paper.
Although this is Origami paper, I bought it because the squares are exactly the right size for something I wished to wrap (well, many somethings). It worked great for what I wanted, especially because I could use the many different colors. However, now that I am done with project, I think I will learn how to do Origami. The paper is a nice weight and is easy to fold. And having a choice of ten different colors is great, too.If I don't do too well learning Origami, I know I can think of ways to use the great colors in collage designs for the cards I make. Nice size but not quite perfect
The great thing about this paper is its size. You don't often find origami paper that's larger than 6 X 6 inches. However, the paper is a little too thick for the intricate folds required of most origami. In addition, the paper is a solid color -- that is, the same color on both sides. I did not realize this when I purchased this product. This is fine if your origami design does not require the contrast of color that traditional origami paper provides or if you are an experienced folder. If you are new to origami or trying to teach origami to young students, the solid coloring can be confusing as most origami instructions refer to a colored side and a white side.
