6.5 Inch Dual Marine Speakers - 2 Way Waterproof and Weather Resistant Outdoor Audio Stereo Sound System with 120 Watt Power, Polypropylene Cone and Cloth Surround - 1 Pair - PLMR67W (White)

Needed a small pair of marine speakers for a jon boat I converted into a bass boat. Have these mounted in the front panel of a bench seat made of 1/2" plywood. They were very easy to mount, the included speaker wiring was easy to attach. Have them hooked up to the rear channel of a Dual 60 watt receiver and was very surprised at the quality of sound coming from them. Definitely more bass than expected and the vocals were clear. We're not going to be blasting it out on the water but it has some volume to it if we wanted to. Would I install these in a car, more than likely no, but for what we'll be using them for they sound great. Not very experienced with speaker installs, so I thought the mounting depth was the length of the speaker behind what it was being mounted to. I thought it was going to be 1.5" back from the front base of the speaker, but it was more like 2.5 or 3 (from the very front where the screws pop out of the back, not from the plywood because obviously any different size plywood would either add or subtract from the length from the back side of the plywood.) They still fit being a smaller speaker but if I ever replace them I'll have to investigate further. I used the cardboard holders the speakers came in as a template for the cutout.

Best money I've spent in years, coming from someone who buys a lot of audio stuff for my truck, it sounds great it has enough bass in it, but it doesn't sound too clear right now because I haven't fully sealed it off, but just from the sound of it now it's clear enough, so with out a doubt best money I've spent. Thanks guys. And also good product, highly recommend them to anyone I use mine for off road on my fourwheeler and they get covered in mud and still sound great with mud on them.

Excellent speaker for the price point. They are not high-end audio, but they are superior to many other marine/waterproof speakers I've tried (even at higher price ranges). The bass response in not huge, but is not bad for cheap 6.5" waterproof speakers. I've ordered several pairs, and in this price range, they have been my favorites.

A great purchase! I replaced some old speakers in my fishing boat and chose these based on the reviews and the cheap price. My boat is exposed to the elements most of the season, so i didn't want to put expensive speakers in it. Also, when at speed, the noise of the motor drowns out the music anyway...so i just needed speakers that sound good at low speed and when fishing. These are the perfect purchase. I just installed them and they sound great. Clear, crisp and nicely balanced. The also look very clean and the all plastic housing won't rust. For the money, these cannot be beat.

Connected these speakers to a 20W amp, within an hour, they started to smell funny from being driven at low volume. The construction is kind of dodgy looking at best, it has some low end range, but driven below 75Hz causes distortion and driven above about 14KHz, so neither of the stated ranges were accurate. This item was totally oversold

One of the things to be aware of is that this item as sold contains two speakers. It is hard to tell that from the description of the item. It includes the wiring and the screws to mount them. The grill is attached to the speaker, each speaker is a one piece unit. The holes for mounting (mine will be replacing some damaged pontoon boat speakers) need to be a minimum of 5". All in all a good deal for the price.

Sound good in the car, went for Marine because the windows leak down over the speakers. been in over a year.

Installed two speakers about a month ago (sept 20) just before the good weather disappeared so the speakers have been well tested in the rain !!! Yet on the occasional dry day I can work outside my workshop and hear my radio with great results 👍
