EDIT: I have since ordered the HD version instead of the no glare version, and it was SO. MUCH. BETTER. Application was MUCH easier, and the screen looks incredible. After almost a year with the anti-glare protector on there, I now feel like I have an entirely new phone.INITIAL REVIEW FOR ANTI-GLARE VERSION:Well... I wanted to like it. First, they give you three, and that's good, because unless you're some kind of ninja in a clean room, you're probably going to need it.The first one I pulled out of the package had a huge scratch running down the middle, so that one was just a loss. I thought maybe I was seeing something wrong so I attempted to apply it but, no, it was definitely a big ol' scratch. But they give you three, so I'm not terribly upset about it.The second, I tried about 10 times to apply it, but dust kept getting in and no amount of their "dust removal tape" would remedy the situation. Eventually it was looking worse for wear and I gave up on that one, too. Pitched it, starting to sweat a little.The third, I got smart. In addition to clean hands, clean phone, clean desk... I also went and got a can of compressed air and used it with great prejudice to expel any itty bitty dust bunnies. That was a huge help, and I do recommend it. I also wrapped the microfiber cloth around the end of a gift card and used paperclips to secure it in place. Also a game changer. Do that too. I still had to re-seat it a half dozen times, though, because the slightest bit of an angle resulted in the edge of the protector hitting the edge of the screen at the top end of the phone, and thus not laying flat.So finally, after about 15-20 minutes of serious effort, the screen protector is placed perfectly, seated without bubbles or trapped dust particles. I have won. I did it. I am feeling like a serious screen protector badass. I turn on my phone, ready to bask in my victory.Ugggggh.I got the anti-glare screen protector. Don't get the anti-glare.It's hard to describe the quality loss, but the best I can come up with is that everything looks slightly mottled. Like a noisy jpeg. Or like when you got too close to an old tube tv and you'd start to see the little colored dots. It's worst on the brighter areas. Lighter blues, and the white background of facebook or its messenger? Fuggitabout it.It's not slight. It's not passable. It actually hurts my eyes and now I have to get a different screen protector. I'm out $7 and I have to go through the whole dust ninja process again. DON'T GET THE ANTI GLARE.All that being said, despite the obvious flaws, these are really high quality screen protectors and they do give you the tools to get the job done. And despite the fact that it looks absolutely horrendous, it actually feels lovely and is very smudge/fingerprint resistant. Alas...Just don't get the anti-glare.Did I mention don't get the anti-glare?Seriously. Don't.

I don't usually write reviews but I definitely feel obligated to write this one. I bought the matte finish screen protector for my Galaxy S5 unaware of the fact that matte protectors compromise screen clarity (to some extent) for anti-glare/anti-fingerprint capabilities. So if you're in love with your device's screen clarity as much as I am, opt for the clear protector, and not the matte one.Now, onto the points that made me give this product 5 stars,1. Super fast delivery! I got the product on the second day after placing my order.2. The little extras tech armor includes with your order are great! So along with the protectors, I also got a microfiber cloth, a card to push out air bubbles, and dust removing stickers. Made applying the protector correctly on the first try easy!3. Prompt and professional customer service! When I applied the screen protector, I found that the screen became unclear. I initially thought that I had done something wrong, so instinctively I looked on their website to see the steps in their videos. Finding no success there, I emailed tech armor to ask what I had done wrong, expecting an answer maybe 2 days later since it was very late (around 12 am EST). To my surprise, I got an answer in the next hour explaining the pros and cons of a matte protector and the willingness of tech armor to send me a replacement "clear screen protector pack". I was overjoyed at their timely response! I honestly did not expect a response that quick especially for a product that is not too expensive.All in all, I feel this was my best purchase online EVER. Tech armor's customer service is above par and they have rightfully earned themselves a new, loyal customer!

The moment I bought the screen protector, I was surprised by Tech Armor contacting me through my e-mail and sent basically a little "thank you" note with a link to their website that tells you how to install the screen protector properly. Pretty cool thing, and basically prepares you on how to set up your protector.As for the item itself, I was a bit excited since I tend to suffer with "hate the phone for getting a lot of fingerprints every 2 minutes."Installation is pretty straight forward. The website gives helpful tips, but it's not for everyone including myself. For some reason I had a bit of a struggle with installing. For those who do struggle, I'd recommend trying out the "door hinge" style. This does come with 3 screen protectors so you're safe in case you mess up.As for the screen itself, it's pretty straight forward and does it's job properly. For the time that I've had this product, there has been no problems. My phone does not get any more fingerprints.The only problem if you're not used to it, is the matte look. You'll tend to notice this little weird faint pixelated look to the phone and it's definitely noticeable if you have a white (or any other light backgrounds). Takes a while to get used to but you'll soon not notice it as much.Overall, I'm really enjoying this product! Definitely worth the $4.95.

I have used many screen guards in the past, Tech Armor is by far the easiest and best looking one I have tried. I purchased the anti fingerprint anti glare and couldn't be happier with the look feel design and ease of application. Simple to follow instructions and a link to a video if it was needed. Now I'll see how long it lasts compared to much more expensive guards.
