this is my first attempt at jewelry making so i wanted a beginner's tool that didn't cost me $$$. this is GREAT!! 1. Cutter - As other reviewer noted, it's not flush with the side of the tool, but it works great! i tried it out on a 20 gauge wire from artistic wire. cut through so smoothly! 2. Round nose - Looks like all the other round nose pliers and it is so useful for making jump rings or winding wire or shaping things. 3. Flatten - This is my only negative star because the flat portion is actually a little uneven. it fully closes more tightly on one side (the cutter side), but the difference is less than 1mm. I was trying to flatten the 20 gauge wire, but this is probably my amateur status coming out. I'll have to hammer the wire. 4. Close jump ring - haven't tried it yet, but i'm sure it works great since the grooves align perfectly. 5. Ergonomic- bonus! it's the ergonomic version of this tool. apparently, there's a cushioned version, but this is the ergonomic one. Great price for a great tool! WIN! ***** UPDATE 11/2014 *********** After giving away my first pair, I purchased the same pair from Amazon, but it was sold by a different seller. It was not the same product! If the item is being sold by The Smith's Eshop, click the "Other sellers" option to pick a different seller! (Thanks for the tip, Mandee!) Original pair: 1. sold by Beadaholique, which sells quality items 2. Came in original packaging, a sealed package with cardboard backing and plastic front, like you would see in the store. 3. Had dark blue handles and clean metal parts. My new pair, which I received today: 1. sold by The Smith's Eshop 2. Came in a little plastic bag with a white sticker saying "Amazon online store. New Jewelry beading 4 in 1 pliers round nose.", and some PLU numbers. 3. Has black handles and some strange black residue coating certain parts of the pliers. The coating is flaking off, and when I wiped the cutter part down, there was some additional residue (like sand or something). I'm not sure if this was a returned item or something, but it is clearly NOT in original packaging NOR does it say that it is made by Beadsmith.

I bought these for making hand crafted Suncatchers but, I use these things to do a wild assortment of, I-need-a-small-needlenose like-object to help me with whatever project, predicament or delicate operation that needs them. It is one of the few tools I keep out where I know their location at all times. Very handy dandy with a multitude of uses for any crafter or dexterous fixer type person. No signs of rusting and never show weakness in any job. Possibly made for a smaller hand but, usable for it's purpose for anyone. Great tool, highly recommend.

Great product

Was excited to get this but it does not cut. Making earrings with tiny wires and it just dents the wire. I wanted an all in one tool and this one did not make the cut 🤣

Love these. I use them for copper wire tree making and tge are wonderful.

練習用にオールインワンのものを購入した。 試しに0.8ミリ径くらいのクリップの針金を曲げてみたけど、しっかり曲がる。 ただし、それくらい硬い針金だと加工する人間がきつい。 思ったよりハンドル（グリップ）が短く7cm程で、男性の手からははみ出る。 まぁ、もう少し細いワイヤーを買って、壊れるまで遊んでみるつもり。

So glad I finally bought one of these! It opened up avenues for me to continuously hang crafted items together :) Shipped fast, and the pair of pliers includes wire cutters, so it's really the only tool you need!
