This liquid latex is of good quality. I got it to use as a nail art barrier for stamping and gradients. It works well, and I appreciate the ammonia-free formula. This latex also has less of that fishy smell they latex has; it's there, but very faint. It goes on white, for easy application, and dries clear. It is sticky, but a little cuticle oil or cornstarch helps, if it's a bother. I didn't find it so sticky it was unmanageable, I just exercised a little care. This latex works exactly as I need it to for stamping. It peels off cleanly, in a single piece. It doesn't peel up my stamping, and it makes cleanup minimal. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it. This latex was a personal purchase, made at the regular price listed at the time. I like that fact it is ammonia free, considering I work a lot with liquid latex, but this drips way too much. Maybe I got a bad one, but the one I got almost had the consistency of water. Also if you do get this, be careful when you open it. I had a hard time opening the jar at first and when I finally got it open, a lot of it splashed out. So BOO to the huge mess I had to clean up after and waste of product.

This liquid latex worked incredibly well to create zombie bite wounds on my neck and face. It was easy to layer with toilet paper and tore to create the appearance of actual torn flesh. I would highly recommend this product to anyone trying to create realistic looking flesh wounds. Oh, and the smell is gross, but not overpowering. Finally, I would recommend putting down protective skin salve before using the product, as it is quite a bear to remove (however, warm, soapy water and some patience - and pain tolerance - should do the trick).

I'm not sure how liquid latex is suppose to look on consistency, but the one I received is super thin and runny. It works well, but I'll have to apply two layers or one very thick layer for it to peel off easily. If not I'm peeling off in very small pieces. I think maybe it would have been thicker if it was colored due to the color pigments being added. I think next time I will order a colored latex. Also, this does have a mild odor to it. Not strong. I only could smell it when I stuck my nose close to the product. I was curious of the smell. Anyways, I'm thinking of trying to mix a little cornstarch with it to thicken it but I'm going to test it first. I'm not worried if it does loose the clearness, I'm using it as a latex barrier for my cuticles.

Originally I bought Mehron flesh colored to do a mask. Then I realized that was a mistake. Turning over to this brand which I hadn't ever heard of and was worried for, this ended up pulling through (and not smelling as bad). With toilet paper, it dried to a yellow color. On skin, it was clear. It was perfect for my Halloween mask that scared the doody out of everyone who came walked past me. I was able to create super realistic bullet wounds and scars on my baby sister who equally was called "ugly" with her costume. Small product, little costly, but it definitely has a loyal fan. I would buy this product again and again despite the price to size ratio. It even held up my boyfriend's devil horns, and those were nearly a foot long!

I am using this as a peel off base coat for when I swatch nail polish. It works great for this purpose. It dries quickly and clear plus it peels off easily. It also can be used to protect the skin around my nail for when I do gradients or messy nail art. I used a metal tablespoon measuring cup to decant this into a nail polish bottle. The odor is pretty minimal for a liquid latex.

So I ordered the clear and while yes I did technically get a latex body paint I got purple which is not what I ordered I figure if you're gonna give me the choice of picking a color you should at least give me that color. If you're going to order this I really hope the color doesn't matter to you or your project.

This stuff worked perfect for the FX makeup I was doing (I was doing a zombie theme this year) but it stunk something AWFUL. Not recommended for small children just because I had a hard time getting mine to sit through having the stinky stuff slathered all over her face. As far as durability, it's alright. It lasted all night. Didn't peel or anything, and didn't leave any noticable residue on the skin when peeled off. Just don't get it in your hair! lol

Perfect for my nail art needs! I'm glad I bought this instead of buying the liquid tapes that come in those striper bottles. It does smell a bit, but I have a sensitive nose, so it might not bother other people. Overall, great product.

I bought this to cover my cuticles when I polish my nails. It lasts forever & is much cheaper then products sold to do this.

Use it like liquid palissade for nail art ! Way less expensive and works as well
