Very nice item it fit my steering wheel to my jeep. My advice to someone who purchased this product would be to let this item lay on your dashboard in your car over night… The cover need sunlight heat to warm it so it can expand easily by stretching better when applying it to your car steering wheel. It make two people to get it on at least it did for me… I love it!

I installed this on my 2021 Wrangler. As others commented, the fit is tight and you need strong hands to get it on, but it doesn't have to be heated as others suggested, but that may make it easier. The feel is similar to the factory steering wheel, but with this I don't have to worry about getting the factory wheel dirty or damaged.

I bought this for a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Unlike others, mine was fairly cool when I installed it. It was a task to get on, I bent a fingernail completely backwards, but still went on in about 3 minutes. It doesn't cover the entire circumference of the steering wheel's grip, but it isn't supposed to. I'd guess it covers about 60% but, I think it feels good and solid. I fits tight enough to prevent slipping and doesn't cover any of my steering wheel controls. I feel that the added thickness improves grip and prevents hand fatigue. Some other reviews mentioned that the Jeep logos were embroidered. Mine are stamped and painted. I could see them rubbing off a bit over time but haven't experienced it myself. I lined up the logos on parts of the wheel that I rarely use; 10:00 2:00 and 6:00. As far as odor, I didn't notice one, probably due to the air freshener that was already there. The look and feel of this cover are great for the price. It's a neat detail for my white Jeep and keeps the cold at bay. We'll see how it holds up to a Houston Summer. Shipping was fast, although I had issues with the carrier's delivery. I recommend this for style, protection and function.

Heat is necessary to install this cover. I found it impossible without. Since it was a cloudy, cool day, I put it in the oven for 6 minutes at 170 degrees, RAN out to the garage and was able to get 3/4 of it on before it cooled off. The last bit took a lot of effort and cussing but after 15 minutes I was able to stretch it. Look and feel is very nice. Makes my steering wheel easier to grip.

As most of the other reviews say, this cover is a very tight fit. I have a 2011 Jeep Patriot, and out of the box I thought there was no way this thing would fit on my steering wheel. Some people recommend leaving it in the sun to heat up and expand, but it was too cloudy and cool to do that. Instead, I stuck it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. It worked perfectly (although you'll have to practically run from the kitchen to your car to get it on while it is nice and hot. It still took some muscle, but the whole process took me less than five minutes. As for the smell that some reviewers have complained of, I cant smell anything unless I put my nose right on it. It also has not left an odor on my hands at all. It is very comfortable, makes the grip a little wider, fits great, looks great, and most importantly, feels great.

This is my 2nd one, first one purchased 5 years ago. Long lasting! Not an easy install, because needs to be tight and secure, but worth the effort.

Just got it and was eager to give getting it on a try - considering the many reviews that advised that it was difficult, and with some reviews saying it just would not fit. So . . . will it fit? Absolutely. Are there some people that won't be able to get it on? Absolutely. But I hope that just knowing that it WILL go on will motivate those that might otherwise quit, to keep trying! It was NOT easy - anything but. But . . . I'd rather have it tight when it was on than loose in the least bit. I started by centering one of the 'Jeep' logos at the top/12:00 position, being sure you can read it from the driver position, and the started carefully working it down, from one side . . . then the other side. I admit that at one point I could have been convinced that the cover was the wrong size! But! I kept at it! And then I got to a point where I realized that yes . . . if I kept at it . . . it was going to fit! And it did. And I like it a lot. Cheaper than replacing the steering wheel which had a section that was in very bad shape. Make sure you start with a 'Jeep' logo at the top center, because once you have it on . . . it is NOT going to move or allow any adjustment!
