Hanes Ultimate Men's 5-Pack Woven Boxer-Colors May Vary

Decent variety within the 5-pack with only one duplicate color/pattern. I thought by looking at the pictures here that these would be thicker stretchy cotton but they are not. They are bed-sheet thin and honestly, that is better than what I thought I was going to get. In all honesty I bought these for the price alone. Several months ago I thought I might move to briefs after being a boxer guy my entire adult life and I subsequently blew through my annual underwear budget picking up some Guide Gear briefs. It was short lived and soon I was longing for the freedom offered by boxers. These are tag-less, and comfortable boxers that do not bunch up and hang well.I would buy these again and would recommend them to a friend. I would also discourage my fellow man from dabbling in the world of briefs.

Be aware of sizing info. LARGE = 36"-38" waist.When you click on sizing info there are two separate Hanes sizing sections. "Boxers" and "Boxer Briefs/Briefs". This item is considered a "Boxer Brief" because of the waistband. It's that elastic "brief" waistband. It's an important distinction. If you look in the Hanes sizing info chart, under just "Boxers", a large is 38-40" waist. The "Boxer Briefs" size large is 36"-38".I comfortably wear a size 36" waist in Levis jeans. You'll be very happy with the size large (36-38"). Nice fit. Not too loose. Not snug in the thighs. Not clingy when bending and walking.I guess the colors/patterns are the luck of the draw. I pleasantly received 5 boxer briefs in the blue-ish pattern family. No green or bold stripe as seen in the item picture. Hey Hanes, how about just plain dark blue or something simple like dark blue with pinstripes/dots? No need to get creative here. IT'S UNDERWEAR.

Boxers have evolved over the years from the plain white cotton army issue baggers that my older brother still wears, ever since Korea. But, they've come a long way. Colors, patterns, and fancy waistbands. As a general rule, nobody else sees them, so what's the point? Well, if you are in a situation where some else DOES see them, then you may benefit from wearing these Classic Hanes. Good product, good price. They get more comfy after several washings.

They're like every other Hanes boxers I've ever bought except due to the fantastic achievements and advances in tag technology, these are even better than the ones we bought just a few years ago. Where can they go from here? Who knows, but it's sure to be a tag free ride.

The comfort level on these boxers surprised me. They is ample room around the crotch and enough give in the elastic belt for that Thanks Giving dinner too.Having 100% Cotton was important to me to avoid 'sweating crotch' syndrom in the summer, and these do a great job at that. I have often found myself wearing these while being out and about on my Bike or at work and they fit both situations well.

As other reviewers mentioned, the colors I received were not accurate compared to the photo. That being said, they're boxers, so I don't really give a crap what color they are. My boyfriend (who they are for) cares even less than I do.He was dubious about the new style of elastic band at first, but now he's sold. He says they're much more comfortable than the elastic you find on most boxers. The elastic seems much more durable, as well.

To be fair, I have an odd-sized waistline (31), which makes finding well-fitting underwear difficult at times. That said, I usually do well with a medium (32-34). These, however, were pretty baggy on me.Also, the material feels a bit like paper.All in all, an alright product, but would not buy again.

Excellent pair of boxers. Wash them first so they will be extra soft. The label says wash them in cold water but who washes underwear in cold water? Not me! The soft 100% cotton feels just just right. I like these so much I ordered another 5 pack. I like my boxers a little on the poofy side and these are just perfect. I wear size 32 to 33 waist pants and the Medium size is just what I needed.
