AcM MAC Small Eye Shadow, Red Brick, 0.05 Oz

Don't get this if you're looking for Red. It applies more of a burnt orange color. The quality is nice though and it blends really well. Lasted all day and very easy application.

The color is very different and looks really nice. Is easy to blend and stays for a very long time.

The color is exactly how it looks. Unfortunately when unwrapping the packaging could already see a coating of the powder everywhere. It was not broken yet somehow powder dispersed, as if it exploded. Ordered another color different seller it was fine. Perhaps it is old. Did not look at date. Did not include photo as I had to clean all the powder off my fingers, box.

Served its purpose for Halloween.

I bought this eyeshadow in conjunction with NYX Single Eye Shadow, Extreme Apricot, 2.7 g . One thing I can say is both are a true red (as opposed to a pink base or orange base), however the MAC shadow is a darker and less saturated brick red, which I thought would layer nicely with the brighter NYX color. The shipment of the MAC eyeshadow arrived quickly, within the week, in perfect condition. No complaints with the seller or shipping. I immediately went to try it out, but to my dismay I found it to go on a bit too sheer. For most who are in the market for a vibrant color palette when it comes to cosmetics, primary colors and the like, we're looking to make a bold statement. We want the pigment rich, the color to pop, not just a hint of red, or a sheer veneer. As such, I like to do my makeup dramatic, with cat eyes and dark penciled brows, and for me this color was not pigmented enough with regard to the richness of the color, nor did it provide the coverage I would have expected with regard to the application and texture. It was thin and blah and just a tad dull. I won't probably use it. Thankfully, the NYX shadow appeared within a couple more days and packed the color punch I was looking for with a very blendable, rich application (not to mention, it was less than half the price for more product...).
