Highly recommend this for heavier monitors that won't need their position adjusted often. I ordered this a few years ago. Never reviewed it as I couldn't find a easy way to attach it to my desk. The clamp requires a few inches of surface to work with and the desk I am using didn't have it available. I didn't want to detach the clamp and mount it directly to the desk. Even though I did give it some serious thought. I put a old set of shelves on my desk recently to get more available space. This attached to it. Though I did need a board to thicken the attachment point as the clamp wouldn't close far enough to attach directly. I have it placed upside down. Pros: Extremely sturdy. The monitor I have attached to it has to way at least twenty pounds. It can be attached in multiple ways to something. Which makes it much more likely to be re-usable if the original item is gone. It comes with pieces and settings to fit most monitor backs that have mounting points. Even the curved back monitors. Cons: It has very limited movement when fully put together. I had to remove the monitor from the mount point to put the monitor on its side. (felt that would work better then remounting the entire thing. It can move side to side and up and down. It angle is slightly adjustable. The display can't be rotated at all without first taking the assembly back apart. May take a little thought and effort to get it attached to whatever surface it is going to be attached to Edit: 161209 Found out I had the thing attached wrong. it wasn't well designed for attaching to the front of something. Works perfectly attached to the back of something though. The wheel that adjusts one clamp doesn't get in the way then. Changing this to a five star review. This purchase has been very worth it. It is now attached to the back of a sturdy table I am using as a desk(more leg room) Wouldn't recommend being extremely careful while adjusting the monitor. I nearly broke it with lack of caution. Wasn't the products fault. Just my inexperience.

I bought this to hold an older 26" 4:3 aspect ratio monitor that is very heavy for its size. The clamp on this is very sturdy, and as others have noted, you can remove 1/2 the clamp and get a great right-angle mount that you can screw into the desk or cabinet. I bought it to be able to use the monitor in temporary locations, and it works very well. The fact that you can leave the VESA bracket on the monitor and easily put the monitor on and off the mount is a plus. Remove the turn-screw, and lift the monitor off. I have a block of hard-wood 1x4 that is about 6"long that I use for tables that are not the minimum 1" thickness. it gives the bottom plate something to press against on a 3/4 table top, and it helps spread the weight so that you don't snap the wood. There is a reason they made the clamp not screw down to smaller pieces of wood as people would use it on flimsy plywood veneer tables, and then complain when it broke the tablet top. I am convinced that this will far outlast the monitor as it is made of very heavy steel. I'm very happy with the purchase, and thanks to the other reviewers that helped me make a good choice.

Not much to say, other than it's a good budget monitor stand. I was dumb and didn't do any measurements it ended up being too loose to clamp onto my desk, but luckily I had a random piece of wood laying around which allowed me to be able to actually use it. It's made out of metal, and it seems very sturdy. You can tilt it right and left (if you wanted to), and you can raise the monitor up and down to get the perfect height (which I constantly argue with myself about). The only thing I'd want improved is how fine you can get the clamp, so people like me with smaller desks don't need to improvise in order to use it. This was an absolute necessity for the monitor I got, you can't adjust the stand and it's default position is pointing at my chest.

Works perfectly. Once it was set I have not had to adjust it or move it or tighten the clamp at all in over three years, other than when I moved and had to take it off the desk. I do have a glass desk, with metal frames, so it is unable to be mounted to the glass. The only minor thing is the clamp is not able to fully close to the monitor stand base. But, a simple 1.5x1.5" piece of leftover wood block from Lowe's that fit into the metal frame made it work (and is not seen unless someone were to kneel down and look for it specifically) and has worked for three years now. That being said, the metal of the desk frame is not very thick at all and can be twisted easily by hand (being put together and bolted properly gives the desk its overall stability, which is perfect too). The mount is sturdy, durable, and the monitor on it is 32", bigger than it is rated for, but under the maximum weight allowance. The stand arm does not lose its height over time and this is a great little monitor stand. Now I need to find a dual stand from the same company to fit two 32" monitors!! get it, you will not be disappointed!!!

PROS: *Cuerpo hecho totalmente de metal y pintado de color negro. *Muy resistente. *Tiene ajuste de altura que es fácil y rápido de manejar. *Como en la descripción del producto dice, se ajusta a los patrones VESA. *Se puede modificar el angulo de inclinación solamente hacia arriba y abajo, *Cuenta con una abrazadera bastante firme y fuerte que se ajusta mediante una pequeña palanca que se gira para que vaya apretando al escritorio lo mucho que tu lo necesites. *Queda bastante firme cuando lo ajustas, no se tambalea ni se afloja con el tiempo. *Cuenta con adaptadores para monitores curvos y planos. *Sirve para monitores con patrones de VESA hasta 25". CONTRAS *NINGUNO. ANTES DE COMPRARLO: *Tener en cuenta que es un soporte para monitores/TV con patrones VESA. *No se pueden monitores de mas de 25". *Tienes que tener en cuenta el grosor de tu escritorio ya que si es muy delgado el escritorio no se podrá sujetar completamente y tendrás que agregarle un pedazo de madera o un pedazo de cartón para que se sujete. CONCLUSIÓN: Si andas buscando un soporte para tu monitor y no quieres gastar tanto, no busques mas este es el indicado, tiene las 3 B's, Bueno, Bonito y Barato.

Who ever made this unit was not dumb as they allowed the bottom back plate to be removable and this alone is worth 5 stars. Add in the proper accessories which nothing was missing and another 5 stars. This thing is not weak it is very strong so you can add some big LED tv's to this arm another 5 stars. I give this 15 stars but amazon only has 5 LOL. Excellent Product. PS you need to be aware of the thickness of your table, but you can always add another smaller piece of wood to make room so that this arm can be attached properly.

Ordered this for my Dell U2709W Monitor. If you don't have experience with it, this is an older CCFL Back-lit monitor that's really heavy, 31lbs. I wanted to use it as a vertical secondary screen and this desk mount did the trick! Sturdily made, has all the features that you need (tilt and 360 degree rotation), and everything works well. Love having a "floating" monitor, as the desk mount itself takes up very little real estate. Amazing for the price, and will be my go to for monitor desk mounts in the future!
