Andis Clipper Blades
After having purchased the Andis Clippers (AGC Super 2 Speed)I also ordered 3 3/4, 4FC, 5 FC and a spare 10 all ceramic edge blades. I am cutting a Toy Cavoodle and found the 3 3/4 blades not great for the length of coat on the dog and found it a bit noisy(could have been my inexperience with first time use of clipper and blade). The other blades cut like a dream and were not too noisy on the clippers. They do get quite hot so split the grooming over several breaks. Also used the Andis Cool Care Plus spray - which is worth every cent! It helps to cool the blades as well as lubricate, disinfect, clean and prevent rust. The AGC Super 2 Speed clippers work well and are not too noisy - but not silent either. My dog had been to the groomers four times prior to me doing it myself for the first time. Would suggest taking dogs to groomers so they are at least used to the noise of the clippers and being handled and clipped.

Works great on body work
I really like this blade. I used it on my maltese and they look really good. I don't know about the longevity of the blade, too early to rate that feature. However they should last a very long time with proper care such as brushing off any hair or dirt that collects on it with a soft toothbrush and applying a drop of oil on them when you store them as well as when they are in use. This is a solid blade and I would recommend it

Excellent Blade for Cool Weather Poodle Grooming
I have two standard poodles that I clip myself, which is no small job. I need blades that will stay cool, cut quickly through think poodle fur, and last for more than one cut. The Andis CeramicEdge is the best blade that I've used that meets all of my needs. The 5FC size is perfect for grooming for cooler weather as it leaves that fur just long enough to still be warm and comfortable for my dogs. It is a great complement for the 7FC and 10, although don't expect it to clip as quickly as the 10 with the large size. The CeramicEdge is worth the extra few dollars over the classic metal blade. It really does stay sharper, longer.

Cut cleanly.
Liked the length of the clip on my long haired chi. . It leaves enough hair that he doesn't look like he's been scalped. The blades perform well, sharp & even clip.

Perfect for my needs!!
I used this to clip dairy goats prior to a show. This was my first experience using the 5FC and I hoped to use it on my does that are of a color (black, gold) that generally need to be clipped in advance of a show to allow hair time to grow back out a little. Using a 10 or 7 blade a black or gold doe looks pretty bad and you can see blade track marks... with the 5FC I could clip those some does the day of a show, because they look smooth and clean!! It is amazing!! No track marks, no almost bald look, the hair length is perfect. This will also be great for my juniors (babies) so they do not get cold. Really happy with this and my friend who was here when I used it went straight home and ordered her own.

Took a while, but it got it done!!!!!
The last time I groomed my poodle was about 6 months ago and paid $60 at Petco. After reading many reviews about different clipper brands, I settled for the Andis 22360 AGC Super 2-Speed along with two extra attachments (5 FC and 7 FC). This was actually my first try at clipping my dog. I love the blade (5 FC), it cuts smooth and it gave it a nice close-up, but not too close to the skin. It took me a while to cut her hair and I had to stop several times to let the blade cool down and apply the cooling spray. This blade is awesome, the problem I had and the reason it took so long to cut through my dog's hair was because it was really matted and there were knots all over. There were places where I had to use the scissors just to get some of the knots out before I could even think about using the blade. I think that going forward it will be much easier to cut it so as long as I keep her hair brushed and don't let it get too long. Hope this helps!!!!

Worth it
I shear my cocker spaniel/sheepdog mutt about 4 times per year. His fur is silky on top with a dense, fuzzy undercoat. Pic attached shows post-spring shearing. The 5FC blade is perfect for final touches. Highly recommend Andis clippers and blades. This blade has stayed sharp for 6+ shearings, making the price very worth the purchase compared to visiting a professional groomer.

Not sure why the blade was in this colour. A bit ridiculous.
