They work great for me!
I do a lot of writing at my job and since I use a lot of pressure to hold my pen I always end up with a callus. These grippers are comfortable. They were pretty easy to slide into my pen, although you can also rub a tiny bit of lotion on your pen like someone else mentioned here and it does in fact slide right through, just in case. If you’re right handed you place your right thumb on the R and for lefties on the L.

Your kid hates school? Maybe writing hurts his or her hand
I have a 6 year old boy who struggles at school. He never does any work that requires a pencil. That's all of it. He can, and will, do his school work if you don't make him write it down. "2 x 2? 4! What? Write it down? 2 x 2 = ...I don't know the answer..." It's THAT bad.I watched how he held his pencil. I'd describe it if I could, but it's near impossible. He had all five of his fingers on the pencil. Imagine that if you can. His thumb was bent back so far, and all the tips of his fingers were pink with blood in them. He'd constantly put his pencil down and stretch his hands and complain they were hurting. But the teacher never noticed. It wasn't until I took him out of school and started doing it myself that I realized either. Everyone was failing my son, myself included. So I ordered these to try to help him and gave him lots of one on one time.He fought these. He didn't want to use them. It took him a week to figure out how to pick the pencil up and hold it with this thing on it without looking it over. He complained. He doesn't want to write! It hurts his hand! He has to put the pencil down to erase, then struggle to figure out how to pick it back up. Stick with it! It does improve! Now, he doesn't even notice. It's been 3 solid months of homeschool. He picks up his pencil, with the grip on it, and starts writing. He doesn't fight writing. His hand doesn't hurt. He doesn't even notice the grip on it and can use it with ease.If he grabs a pencil without the grip on it, he holds it almost perfectly. No five fingers. The only problem with his pencil skills now is he still bends his thumb back, and it does hurt him to write. So we continue using the grip. This did NOT fix his penmanship though! It's still bad. I figure since he's just now starting to hold his pencil correctly, it's OK if he has kindergarten level penmanship. He'll get better, or he won't. I'm OK with that. I'm simply thrilled that he doesn't fight school work anymore. I'm looking forward to him going back to class with his friends, and so is he.

Good product, but squishier than I was expecting
These are nice grips and do feel comfortable to hold. I got these for sketching, but they just don't work well for how I draw. I grip the pen/pencil fairly firm, and I tend to press a little hard on the paper. These grips have some squish to them, and it makes me feel like I don't have absolute control of my lines. It's very subtle, but enough for me to notice and not want to use these over other grips I own.If you write/draw more lightly, or you're looking for something with some squish, then these grips would be a great fit for you! I think it's worth mentioning that the grip does not feel the same between the left and right hand. I'm naturally right handed and find the grip comfy in the right hand, but the suggested way of holding it left handed is definitely different. It's not bad, but not as comfortable.

Excellent. Really works.
As a university student i hand-write quite a lot. Sometimes I end up writing seven pages in just 45 minutes. During the past years I have developed a very intense pain on my hand when writing. I tried everything, changing my hand position when typing, changing of pencils, I even tried to type with my other hand (which I most recognize was a total failure).I also recall buying pencils worth $6.00 each that claimed a fast and smooth writing. However reality was that nothing worked until I tried this Grips. The price might sound a bit high at first, however it is worth it. My experience with them is great.Feel: The grips have a very soft and smooth feel. They are made of a nice polymer that feels like gel, yet they are very resistant. Precisely that feel will help you reduce a lot the pressure you make to the pencil and I'm sure that contributes to reducing the pain in your hands.Speed: Comparing how I write with this grips and the speed I had before I can tel i type like two times faster than before and without pain.Position: This grips comes with the correct position to hold your pencil. Hence without even noticing you are holding your pencil with a correct position, another factor that will contribute to your overall performance when typing.Resistance: As I mentioned this grips are very resistant. I still don't see a scratch on them. Even if I always use the same pencil the grip looks just as new.Overall: I love this grips. They reduced the pain I had when typing by a very considerable amount. They made me type faster and better. I definitively recommend this product to anyone with any condition in their hands and to anyone who is looking to improve the position in which they hold the pencil or pen.Note: It works perfectly on my mechanical pencil, my pens, and even my common #2 pencils.

Great product
Students actually write better after using these.

Quality product but counterproductive fir small hands
Quality product but I wouldn’t buy them in retrospect. It’s a useless product. It didn’t help my kids. Their fingers are too small and this product is too big. Manes writing more difficult

Fits stylus grest
Super comfortable way to grip my stylus. I love these! Once you use them you won't want to hold your pencil with anything else.

Práctico
Suaves y funcionales. Le quedaron un poco grandes para la mano de mi hijo de 7 años, pero ya está tomando bien el lápiz que es lo que quería

Excellent quality grip
I’m an occupational therapist and this is one of my favourite pencil grips. Most kids I work with like these because they are soft to use and they love the bright colours. The range of colours is excellent in the pack and there’s at least one colour to satisfies each child. These also have enough stretch in them to fit a regular size pencil but also over a larger kindergarten sized pencil. The design of this grip enables correct placement of the index and middle fingers and thumb. The thumb position is marked for a left or right handed. The size of this grip works well for children who like to thumb wrap. It makes is harder to do that and keeps the fingers in a more mature position.

For littles and grown ups alike
I got these upon school teacher recommendation for my 1st grader. He has been using them in class already with great success and I can see the improvement on his grip which made his writing quite a bit clearer. I have a pretty bad pencil grip myself (always have) and my hand will hurt after lots of writing so I decided to steal one from my kid’s package and wow, what a difference it made. I quickly stole a second one for my other pen. I am now hooked on using these.
