ASICS GEL-Venture 4 GS Running Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I bought these for my 9 year old son and he loves them! He's a very active boy and normally will blow through a pair of shoes in just a couple weeks. His other pair lasted several months before they started feeling tight and his rough and tumble ways finally rubbed a small hole in the fabric. Even though they're probably too small and have a small tear, my son still uses them as play shoes and will be sad to see me toss them. Well worth the money! Definitely cheaper in the long run than buying a pair from a certain big box store every month (or less!).

My 9 yr old son is incredibly rough on shoes. These Asics Gel running shoes are the best shoes we have found. They last through an entire school year. He is crazy hyper and active...sports and runs everywhere. These shoes have great support and absorb the shock from all the running. Its the first time he hasn't complained about his feet hurting after school. We went through 3 pairs of high priced Nike running shoes the previous school year. I will never buy Nike again!Shipping was fast and shoes fit exactly as expected.

My son likes these shoes a lot and I just bought him a new pair since the first pair is finally wearing out after 4 1/2 months. He is very hard on shoes and other brands have not lasted 2 months. I would give 5 stars, but the rubber started to peel from the toes and soles and had to be glued back on a few times to keep them going.

Quality was great and cushioning was great according to my son but sizing was slightly off. It was somewhat too small in length. I find it curious though as Asics are usually dead one in regards to size and this is the first one I have come across that did not fit. Note: I have ordered other Asics models since and they were fine in regards to sizing.

My son is in between a 5 and 5.5 right now. I bought a size 6 and they fit perfect. I am trying to decide if I should return for a 6.5 so he has room to grow. He loves the color and vthe overall quality seems great. We have always been impressed with Asics.

Good shoe that's been very durable under heavy use by fourth grade boy. Doesn't show dirt and they still look decent after two months. Waited to review because they arrived bigger than expected. Most Asics I'ved owned as an adult ran small. Ordered 1/2 size too big, they arrived true to size.

Just bought these for my 6 year old. They look sharp! I hope they hold up. We've tried several other brands and only get about 4 months out of them before the sole wears and threads start showing. He has to wear them everyday at school and has enjoyed them so far.

These shoes are for my son and he says they make him run faster. I would say he loves them. He usually goes through shoes in 1-2 months but these shoes have outlasted all the rest. I will even need to replace the laces before the shoes. He wears them daily to school and plays in them on the weekend. I will be buying another pair soon because he is growing so fast.
