Make sure that you get the correct dress form size before purchasing.
The product is well made and sturdy. I had a slight problem in setting up the stand. It tended to wobble until it was fixed in all the slots. I am still learning how to use it before I say that it is easy to use. There are gaps when you open up the form to your size and that in itself makes it hard sometimes to put a pattern on the seam line. It does not exactly fit a person's measurements, so you need to pad those places that need padding. I am sure it will be easier to use as I use it more often. I bought it for making my own clothes, and I'm sure that women understand how hard it is to make clothes for one's self. I'm hoping that this comes in very handy and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to adjust and use
Easy to adjust and use. Five stars because it does everything I need it to and the price seems right.I have made several sewing projects on this dressform now and only have a few complaints:-It doesn't feel sturdy or weighted down. It's great for everyday projects but don't expect it to stay still when working with anything heavy on it. It often feels a lot more wobbly than I expected when I'm putting on and removing garments. I mostly make costumes that have multiple parts and lots of fabric, so this may not be an issue for most people.-More of a personal thing, but I like to pick up and move my dressform around occasionally, and it has a tendency to just pop out of the bottom part of the stand and you have to rotate it really carefully to put it back in (this is difficult when the dressform has a project on it!)-Some of the measurements may not be able to match up to your actual measurements, they'll have to stay in a ratio that the dressform is able to adjust to. This isn't a huge issue or a big surprise, just something to keep in mind.

Great form for the price.
I bought this one because I have 3 daughters and myself, that I sew for regularly. This one had the most available measurements that I needed for all 4 of us.It was very easy to put together, stays stable on its stand, though I will be changing to locking canister wheels shortly for easier portability. I like the adjustable height. Adjusting was very easy, just take your time and adjust each of the 4 buttons evenly for the best fit, to gain the girth needed. Tweak as needed, so I would recommend doing more than the neck, chest, waist and hip measurements. I am an odd chest size, with small back, but larger than normal chest, so to fix that problem, I just slipped on one of my thinner bras and stuffed it, to get that fit. I am working on forming a more stable mold, using foam, that I can attach and remove, as needed. Similar problem with one of my daughter's and herbutt, narrow hips and a JLo backside. Batting is too soft and compresses to easily, like someone else suggested, so i like foam, shaped to fit. Sounds like a lot of work, but I do not have room, nor the funds to buy 4 different forms and unless I had them custom made, I would still encounter the same problem. I guess you could add those gel inserts that you buy online for this issue, but I have a tool to cut/shape foam, so easier for me.I have read the negative reviews and I say the same that a few others have said...read the directions. Take your time, it's like 5 minutes, if you read first and think about how to do it. I did a few extra steps, not in the directions, just to make maneuvering easier. Get the two base peices and cross them and slide them together. This is a bit of a thight fit and yes, it took me a few seconds to figure out the proper way because of the smugness. I removed the bottom black locking piece, so I could slide on the hem adjuster. Since it was off, I attached the black base locking piece to the legs and locked it in place. You may have to tweak the legs slightly to slide it on, I wasn't in a complete crisscross at first. Then, I slid the pole onto the base, with the hem adjuster locked in place. It can be adjusted later. I just didn't want it in the way and sliding around. I then unlocked the black height adjuster, at the top of the pole, and slid it down about 6 inches and locked it back down. This gives you more "pole" to slide the form onto and makes it shorter and easier to work with. The form was shorter than me, at this point. I slid the form and height adjuster up to where I wanted it and locked it down. I went under the form and tightened the thumb screw, attached to the form, for addition stability. Done. When I need to adjust the height, I just loosen the thumb screw and then the height adjuster. I was afraid of loosing adjuster and the extra one, so I drilled a small hole in the handle, slid a ribbon through and attached it to the form with a quilter's safety pin. They are easier to remove than a normal safety pin. I attached the extra one to my pin cushion. Knowing me, at some point I will adjust the form, lay the adjuster down and it won't be seen again, if I didn't. I made the ribbon long too, so I can adjust without detaching it. The extra one has a short ribbon, for convenience.Hope this gives you some ideas. My only complaint is how you have to place the pins and the depth you can go straight in. I have to place pins at an angle to secure them and when I am going fast, I don't pay attention. Keep hitting the plastic, which will dull your pins.

If you dont have patience, sewing may not be good for you
I was somewhat skeptical after reading some of the reviews mentioning that the item is flimsy and hard to assemble or the size hard to set. Well i am glad i did not listen. The item is very easy to assemble if you take the time to follow the instruction.Yes, it does take some time to set the measurement to match your own size, it needs to be done gradually, if you read the manual it does expedite the process... it took me only 15 minutes to have it match perfectly. Frankly anyone who can not muster 15 minutes of patience on a task has no business sewing his/her own clothes.i think this is an excellent value for the money and does exactly what it is advertised for.

I use this for making costumes and it has been amazing! No more trying to fit the costumes on myself when making them. I adjusted the dress form to match my measurements and have used it since. It works well and is very well made. The base can be a bit wobbly, but I reinforced it with duct tape and it works well now. The dress form allows you to put pins into it which makes creating new costumes so much easier. It has a spot to store pins as well when working on an outfit. It works very well and has made it so much easier to do sewing projects.

It does not wobble and I like the way that I can be kneeling and working ...
I am thrilled with my dress form by Singer! It is lightweight and assembles very well and quickly. I had no trouble fitting it to my shape as I had watched some YouTube videos on this subject. So, what I did was adjust the hips and waist to my size first. Because the form is an A cup, I knew that additional help would be needed there, so I put one of my own bras on it and stuffed it with tissue to get my upper measurement. It took not more than 10 minutes to do all of this and I was ready to use it. It does not wobble and I like the way that I can be kneeling and working with it as I spin the form, instead of scooting myself around the form to work with different sides of a garment. That is helpful. Some of the other reviews had cautioned about the "key" being plastic and there being only one, so I was very careful in handling and using that key and, when I was finished adjusting the form, taped it up inside the form so I would always know where it was. Am so happy with my dress form. Tickled, in fact.
