Sweet Gum killer
Bought this to kill sweet gum and Bradford pear trees that keep resprouting. I’m mixing crossbow w diesel instead of water. Seems to be working. Will verify in a few months when everything starts to sprout in the spring. Don’t skimp on application!

On the fence about this
I bought this to eradicate some brush and weeds in a desert display. Unfortunately, I had to leave before I saw the results. When I got home I tried it on some weeds growing in our yard. Didn't seem to work at first. With the big R brand, the weeds would start to die within a day. With this, it didn't look like anything was happening. Then it started to rain for a couple weeks. The weeds seem to be gone, but I'm not sure. Maybe I was using it on the wrong type of weeds. I'll give it another go and see what happens.

Great for a certain type of weed!
We're in South Texas and we have these weeds here called Lespedeza. Google it. It grows really low across the St Augustine grass, smothering it, everything under is brown and the soil turns to dirt. This is what kills it along with others like it. I used a gallon sprayer and about 3tbl spoons of this with the water. Spot sprayed. Do this when it's not so hot outside, like late evening. Let it do it's killing magic for a few days dry. After, you can hit the areas and lawn itself with a hose attached Scott's weed and feed. It'll help it recover. Water of course. Droughts make lawns weak and little jerks like this weed LOVE the heat. This fall, we will fertilize properly to avoid this again. Good luck!

6 oz to 3 Gallons by Weight, NOT Volume! Don't Overdose (Back For MORE)
The northern exposure of my woods, where the woods meet meadow was being overtaken by poison ivy and I needed to do something drastic! Southern Ag Crossbow has some good video and people supporting them, so I thought I would give it a try. Waited for dry hot weather with little to no wind and waded into the poison ivy and thistle thicket. Sprayed the largest poison ivy leaves and followed them as far as I could. Around the base of trees, in the undergrowth, across fallen dead trees, the more I sprayed, the more I found and I definitely needed to get a handle on that stuff before it flowered and went to seed! Within days, I drove past the areas and happily found it all wilting down and dying back. Whew, success and not a moment too soon as I was getting some "feedback" from my northern neighbor regarding my weed situation. I also used this spray to kill back wild roses and heavy thorned wild berry stands. It left the grass and my Irish Moss in tact, so I was pretty darn impressed. DO NOT OVERDOSE- When I was reading the ingredients and mixing instructions, it says for poison ivy you should use 6 ounces to 3 gallons. Some may just grab a measuring cup and fill it to the six ounce mark.. DON'T DO THAT, you will have an overdose if you do. Get a paper cup, put it on an actual scale, zero the cup out and then add the concentrate until you hit six ounces. It's much less liquid than you will be using IF you go by the ounce marks on a measuring cup. Mark the 6 oz. point on your paper cup and save that as your dosage for 3 gallons and you'll be spot on! Some reviewers commented that is "killed grasses also" yes, it will if your concentration is too high, I'm just going to guess that they went by oz marks without actually weighing the concentrate... it's by weight, not volume. I'm writing this review since I came back to order again and this is by far and away, the very best poison ivy and thorny thistle killer I have found anywhere for any price. I happily pay well for things that work!!! Do I recommend it? YES, I do, without hesitation. Kill that poison ivy and be a good neighbor! :)

Crossbow Herbicide
After using a bottle of a competitor's product with almost none of the vines affected, I waited a few weeks and tried this. I may have been a little over zealous with it because it killed more than I wanted and didn't cover as wide an area as I hoped. (I used it with a hose end sprayer.) Your mileage may vary.
