I have used these bag holders now for over a year it's very sturdy it holds the bag solid and is very simple it's a little pricier than some Brands but I think it's belt built better than the cheaper ones you don't have to assemble sections together it's all one fall of steel bar so it's very sturdy and does its job very well so I think the higher price is worth it

I had purchased a reuseable garden/yard waste bag from a different company. I liked all the features of this bag and it was built to last a long time. The only issue I had, is the bag would not stand on its own unless it was about half full. This is where the Bag Buddy came in. It was perfect to hold thi heavy duty canvas bag in a standing position while filling it. The Bag Buddy is light weight but strong enough for what I needed when doing yard work. My canvas bag is oversized but still works with the Bag Buddy. Great item and great price. The only thing I'm concerned about is the plastic connectors on the Bag Buddy. I'm hoping they will last a couple of seasons of use. Time will tell.

Struggled with filled bags tearing to shreds when trying to lift them out of the 30+ Gal. trash can (due to suction and weak bags) and searched for a better option. Thanks, Amazon. This product is genius and so easy to use. Took a few minutes to assemble and popped apart only once during a 10-bag rake day....but I WAS dragging it by the 'arms' all across the yard, so I'm going to chalk that up to "user error". :) Otherwise, very sturdy, practical, lightweight and stores flat. As I recall one reviewer mentioning, be sure to attach the bag with the drawstring tabs along the horizontal edges of the two metal uprights, thereby allowing the bag's side-seams to line up with the "open" sides. (Only a few times misaligning the bag and you'll see how easy it is to remember. HA) Especially if using flat-bottomed bags, since once the leaves begin to stuff into the bag's corners, they kind of point out further than the sides of the bag and then become 'stuck' in the 'closed' side of the upright bars. The Bag Buddy came in so handy while cutting back perennials, evergreen bushes and weeds as well. It moved easily between tasks and held a huge amount of stems due to the fact that there's no direct side support/resistance to the bag -- thus allowing for maximum compaction. Bonus: the Gardex LS-1000 Poly Leaf Scoops - Yellow (also found on Amazon) are the perfect size to fit within the opening of the Bag Buddy and make a pleasant task of raking leaves. Would DEFINITELY recommend this product. Even if it gets used only twice a year, it has to be one of the best products I've bought for under twenty bucks!

Very simple yet works terrifically. Bought this to use as a camping trash can and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I love that it comes apart for easier storage.

I bought this for my husband’s yard work. He really likes it especially the convenience of having it nearby and the how easily he can toss trimmings and debris into the bag. The size and the capacity work well. This is actually the second one I bought him. The first one was two years and one of the braces broke. He admits to stuffing it full and the weight was probably too much. He’s pleased with how long it lasted and the abuse it took. I took one star off because of the break but maybe that was a bit harsh.

This is a quality trash bag holder. I have used it many times. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. It can easily be taken apart for storage when not in use. It leaves your hands free for raking leaves, etc. Very convenient. I like it so much that I bought two more.

This bag holder stand is simple to assemble and very helpful when I'm doing yard work. The lawn and leaf bag is held securely in the stand by tension and the bag is kept open in the stand making it easy to fill. I'm able to work alone and not ask my wife to follow me around to hold the bag open. Once the bag is filled it's easy to remove, tie it up, lift it out and set up a new bag. My only minor complaint is that I have to use bungee cords to keep the stand together when I drag it around the yard otherwise it comes apart. Not a big deal.

I cannot adequately express how much this simple device has helped. You know how when you are raking leaves or sweeping outdoor debris and your spouse, child or helper holds the bag open for you to fill. Always hardest at the beginning when the bag wants to fold in on itself. So without a second person, it is a real pain. Well, my husband is now disabled to I no longer have a helper. I used to dread doing anything in the yard that involved bagging. Found this online, read the reviews and ordered thinking how could anything this light weight and inexpensive work. Well it does. Easy, easy, easy to put together. Then put your bag over the arms, I put one foot over bottom cross piece to stabilize, then stretch the bag over second arm. Voila, your own personal cheap bag helper. Regular black trash bags do not go quite to the ground, so when about half to three quarters full you bag might slide off the arms. But, by the time it slides off, your bag can stand on its own and stay open (without the bag helper it is always the beginning fill that is most difficult). If you buy the larger contractor bag, the bag rests on the ground and does not slide off. I bought two more for family members. Stand is light weight easy to move all over my yard. Love it!
