i have had this case for some time now,and i love it. i have gotten so many compliments on it, and it fits snuggly and feels nice and secure on my mac.the one issue thats not letting it have 5 stars is that on the corners of the top piece near where its clipped on is chipping, it doesn't bother me because it just amplifies the vintage look. its only the thin layer of rubber coating with the dark blue of the union jack, it looks red/orange but it doesn't bother me and it for sure IS NOT making the case weaker in any way. its only cosmetic. and this is through a lot of back and forth use in and out od a book bag.

Arrived within days of placing my order, looks great, has a matte finish that keeps it from slipping out of your hands if you're carrying it, and does add a layer of hard protection HOWEVER, I accident hit the corner of it with a text book, and right away it cracked, with a piece of it falling off and several shards splintering off. I had to epoxy the rest of the hairline crack so it wouldn't get worse.Its not bad, and I'm glad I had it on or I might have damaged the computer, but my roommate had DROPPED her laptop with the skin on it and nothing happened to it, so if you're just looking for a tough case, choose another one. If you're looking for a basic protector that looks really, really great, go with this one.

The case easily snapped right onto my Macbook Pro & stays put. The texture of the case gives me a better grip (which is a good thing for clumsy girls like me). Probably one of my favorite features...is the color. I previously had a very light blue case, and it showed every speck & smudge of dirt. I work in an office, so its not like I was taking my laptop out to the local mud pit. Try as I might, I could never clean the smudges. But this distressed Union Jack is PERFECT! It looks cool AND it hides any fingerprints. It arrived as-described and on-time. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Shell looks, fits and feels great on the laptop and I have received several compliments on it already. only drawback is one of the corners has cracked on the top and bottom already. The shell was most likely damaged during a recent flight so I don't know how hard of an impact it took. Even with the cracks it still hold on nicely and is usable.

The case fits perfectly, and is very protective. I dropped my laptop and it did chip the corner of the case, but i guess that means the case works. I have noticed that the front can easily be scratched, but the scratched are not that noticeable. I really enjoy this case and will keep using it till i can't anymore.

I am currently buying my second cover because my first one broke after my first year of college. I got this case solely to provide my laptop with some protection when I'm around on campus and it worked PERFECTLY!! If you're not the type who throws his/her laptop around but accidents happen I recommend this case. After a year it finally broke. The damage was very minimal since it's only due to me dropping my bag all the time and the one time it fell off my bed.

awesome design. pattern is exactly what is pictured. it "clicked" onto my mac perfectly. the case isn't very strong though. it's cracking without me dropping it. may have took a bang in the laptop bag but was hopping the case might have held up better. still a nice cover.

I purchased this case for a late 2011 MacBook Pro 13" which it says that it would fit, but I found a problem when I received it...The top cover is a very tight fit which would usually be a good thing, but in this situation it was very difficult to put on and did not securely fit my laptop. The bottom cover clipped on where it was supposed to, but did not truly fit the laptop. The bottom edge along by the trackpad did not fit properly - it would cut into my wrists when I typed.I would not recommend buying this case if you are frequently on your laptop. It's great for protection if you're carrying it in a backpack or bag, but not for heavy usage.

Overall the quality is good.It came with a couple of scratches, but luckily they are not too visible.A big shame the apple logo is hidden... of course it lights up behind the flag, but it is not visible... the material in the middle should have been a bit thinner or with a whole.... anyway... good enough and suits its purpose

This shell works wonderfully on my 13 inch MacBook Pro. It fits like a glove but is easy to remove, I was concerned that it might scratch the computer when removed like some clingier cases but this does not. It looks great and I've already had one situation where it has spared me a scratch. It looks great and it protects the computer really well, what more do you need in a shell?

This is perfect. Fits my laptop to a tee and is still looking great months later! I love it. Was the perfect price too and came in no time.
