O'Neill Women's Premium Skins Upf 50+ Long Sleeve Rash Guard

I wore this top every day for 5 weeks straight on a surf trip. I never put sunscreen on underneath the top and the sun protection was terrific. No burning, no tanning, no sun damage. Top remains in great condition even after a great deal of use: no ripped seams, no unravelling, no loose threads. I am 5 feet tall and typically a size 4; the size Small top worked for me (see picture).

I’ve been wearing O’Neill nylon/spandex rash guards for years now and love them. They have a high neck and are very effective sun blockers and are also very good for warmth in cold water. The color (fresh mint with white panels) on the website does not look at all like the color of the rash guard I received: the green of the website color is a dark grayish green, the rashguard color is a very light mint green. I was expecting and hoping for a much darker green. I’ll keep it anyway because O’Neill nylon/spandex rash guards are very hard to find; most O’Neill rashguards are polyester/spandex, and I don’t like that fabric.

I had tried an XL and an L in what I thought was this same rash guard and both were too big. I then ordered this in a Medium and it was so tight I could barely get it on. Why does O'Neill have such a huge discrepancy between sizing when they name all these shirts the same?! If they named them "skin tight fit" and "relaxed fit" then I would have a better chance of ordering correctly the first time. Now I have bought (and subsequently returned) three different sizes of the O'Neill skins rash guard. So annoying.

I love the cobalt color and the cut. I am thin and have a small bust and this fits me well. I usually take a women's small but ordered a Large due to review's advice. It fits a bit snugly but if I put on 10 pounds it would still fit. It is higher quality than other I have tried. I like the fact is a cut to fit the curves of the waist, not straight like t T-shirt.A note for chemically sensitive people like me: The shirt arrived with a solvent odor and I was concerned I would have to return it. I contacted the company and they said it was from the graphics. I put the shirt in my garage and in 2 weeks when I checked on it the odor was gone.

As a melanoma survivor, it’s imperative I keep my skin protected in the sun. I needed a last minute UPF rashguard for vacation, and this was a great find! My new favorite swim too! Kept me sun-burn free, and comfortable in the heat. With most rashguard tops I HATE being wet outside of the water and typically take them off quickly. I was able to keep this on without feeling uncomfortable- which is a huge plus for me! Fits a little tighter than I expected. Will buy more in other colors!

COLORS are not what they appear at least on my screen. I got the seaglass/light grapefruit which on my screen looks like pale blue teal with dull orange brown side panels. It's actually bright pink coral on the sides and bright green teal sleeves. Still looks nice. SIZE is snug. I am 5'10" with a long torso, moderately broad shoulders and 36B chest. Large fits very snuggly but that is the style. If you have love handles choose a size up bc it will ride up when you get in the water.

It fits perfectly. I'm 5'5 and weight 116.6 pounds (just jumped on the scale to give you the accurate weight). The pictures really helped me so I decided to post my own to help you. It looks awesome and I didn't feel hot at all under the sun. I did wear a bikini top underneath tough because I felt kinda naked without it. lol. BTW I ordered size small.

I originally ordered the seagrass/grapefruit/lunar color and, as previous reviewers have stated, the colors in person aren't nearly as nice. I received more of a burnt orange/green/tan rash guard and, IMO, the colors didn't compliment each other as well as the ones in the photo.However, the fit was great. I normally wear a med so I ordered a med and it fits well. A little snug but I wanted it to be that way. It's softer material compared to the Roxy brand-- feels very comfortable on. I returned the original one, because I hated the color combo that much, and reordered the black/pink combo instead.

Like it so much I purchased two O'Neill performance fit rashguards in different colours. I first ordered a standard fit version of the same rashguard, but it seemed baggy and unflattering. Performance fit will be my go-to for now on. Definitely order a size up, or it will be a squeeze and appear overly tight. I'm a small and went with a medium based on other reviews. Normally, I would never wear a medium in anything. The M performance fit is perfect - like a glove but flattering vs tight. Also the performance fit has a more athletic visual to it in my view, and better suited to the on-water activities for which I purchased it. Feels like also has a slight compression aspect to it, which for me is a bonus.

Quality of shirt OK, but extremely small sizing. Extra large would be better tagged as medium. I don't want a skin tight fit, so I usually order larger size. However in this case didn't matter, ridiculously small! Just be aware when ordering.

Right fit. My girlfriend is 5'5" 120lbs and small fit perfectly.

Love this shirt. Buy a size up as it fits small. It’s still snug but that’s how I like it.
