THE WICKED SIDE OF WIZARDRY Cute girl wizard Lucy wants to join the Fairy Tail, a club for the most powerful wizards. But instead, her ambitions land her in the clutches of a gang of unsavory pirates le by a devious magician. Her only hope is Natsu, a strange boy she happens to meet on her travels. Natsu’s not your typical hero – he gets motion sickness, eats like a pig, and his best friend is a talking cat. With friends like this, is Lucy better off with her enemies? Review: Very fun, enjoy the characters, like the Animal House of Wizards lol - Wow, was very impressed and with a title like Fairy Tail I was a little skeptical, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Doesn't take itself too seriously but in a very good way. Love that they are kinda like outcasts or again like the Animal House of Guilds of magicians. Think the few characters we've met have a super great base and look forward to seeing where they go from here. Enjoy everything, the art while very good I don't know if intended but not gonna look and go OMG that's the greatest drawings ever, very good and better then I could ever do but just compared to others it's not the top tier, but that could be the style the artist was going for and it in no way detracts from the story. Can't wait to continue the series. Review: Cheap buy but great condition and a great read - Starting off with the pros the copy I got was in almost perfectly new condition. The manga is a great read for new people getting into Fairy Tail or people who finished watching the anime and want to get into the manga like me. The art is amazing and better than I expected but I had known it would be great but not as great as it would. The fighting scenes in volume 1 are magnificent with each frame pacing up towards the final blow. The dialouge is great and I love the extra efforts they put into drawing litlle bits of action to feel like your getting ready to be punched with a powerfull attack. The expressions the characters make are funny most of the time but can be serious. The cons I have with this is that I wish there was a color version and that some of the characters don't look as great as in the anime but as this came out before the anime its to be expected. Overall this is a 5/5 and I am excited to read more.

Is that Gray?!?!?!?!
It is pretty similar to the anime! I like it so much... but wait.... the art style is kinda different! If I wasn’t very familiar with Gray and his habits I probably wouldn’t have noticed that he was him! I really like that at the beginning the Honorifics of Japanese culture are explained^-^ I would definitely recommend. It is really good so far :)

If you have never read a manga before, now is your chance! This is the same quality manga that you can find in bookstores. I always love the additional side notes that are included in the beginning and end of the book, which sometimes go over some history, grammar, and Japanese honorifics that are commonly said throughout the manga. There is often more to the story that is left out in anime, so if you became a fairy tail fan from watching the anime, and want to get more out of the story, you definitely should read the mangas. If you are curious as to why there is a hype at all about manga, just give it a shot. My husband really loved the anime, so I thought I'd let him read the manga. If you like comics, this may also be another great way for you to try something new. Although it's hard to really see the plot in the first manga, the story has a fantastic plot. If you're not a reader, then try watching the anime(Japanese animation) at least!

Slow start, to A great Series!
This isn't the most noteworthy of the volumes because the first couple of chapters is mostly playing around and character introduction, but I'm read up to a high chapter and I can say that as the volumes go on it just seems to get better and better with: some romance, cute characters, character progression, strong male characters and female characters. This is only some of it, but the summary would be the introduction of the magician natsu and his first friend. They meet up, become a team after joining the guild Fairy Tail and get ready to start their first mission (for money, of course).

Underwelming
Has a lot going on in the first volume, hoping it gets a little more refined as it feels muttled right now.

Amazing book and Amazing seller
We all know that Fairy Tail manga is very good and one of the G.O.A.Ts. What matters is if the manga is legit and not counterfeit and how that manga reaches you. It must be firmly packed so that it doesn't get damaged in transit and that you don't get scratches, bends, dents etc all over it. Trans Infopreneur Inc delivers authentic and original manga packed well in a bubble wrap cover with a plastic film like cover over the book itself. No damages and you get the book in all it's original and mint glory. I have bought from them twice. So, be careful with the sellers. Other authentic sellers ship the manga in a brown paper bag with no care whatsoever. I have had to replace manga from such sellers more than a few times. And I found my solution to that with Trans Infopreneur Inc.

Great Start to a Great Series!
Fairy Tail volume 1 contains the first four chapters: The Fairy Tail, The Master Appears, Fire Dragons and Monkeys and Cows, The Celestial Spirit of Canis Minor. Story Intro: Lucy is a 17 year old girl who wants nothing more than to join Fairy Tail a magical guild full of powerful wizards. She bumps into this guy called Natsu accompanied by his best friend Happy who is a cat. Then she finds herself in trouble but Natsu & Happy both turn out to be wizards from Fairy Tail. Natsu himself is a dragon slayer (raised by a dragon). After Natsu saves Lucy from trouble Natsu takes her to Fairy Tail which she joins. And the adventure begins... After watching the anime which I found so enjoyable I decided to get the manga. After reading it I have to say it's better in the manga. For me the manga has more in it with the stories, action, comedy things that the anime doesn't have. With the first volume you get some extras such as 'Happy Job' a short comedy story, 'Natsu's Design' and the 'Afterword' page where the author talks about stories behind stuff etc and the 'Translation Notes' where they talk about the translation process and the differences with the Japanese translation.
