I love this mix. It is whole grain but it is still makes light fluffy pancakes. Yummy but Takes a Little Playing With
Makes excellent pancakes that aren't that bad for you. I'm still experimenting with mixing it as the batter comes out a bit too thick for my personal taste when I follow directions exactly but when you get it right they taste amazing. My 14 yo son who is the world's finickiest eater can't get enough of them. They also seem to cook at different speeds than most commercial mixes so you do have to spend some time playing with them to get them right consistently. Makes for a fun Sunday morning trying though!

Totally delicious and so convenient!
I am really impressed with this mix. Soft, fluffy, delicious pancakes. So much better and so much more convenient than when I was mixing up my own pancakes from scratch. I could probably make my own mix for cheaper, but it's really not what I want to spend my time on. Honestly, I don't even follow the directions for these (I just add water until it's the right consistency, and sometimes some sugar and frozen blueberries or chocolate chips) and they turn out great every time.I think this organic mix, for some reason, actually tastes better than the non-organic. I had the non-organic before, and never really liked it; it had a really strong, whole-grainy taste, and seemed a bit course. This seems lighter, and is just plain yummy. I wasn't expecting that; I got it for convenience's sake, and, since my husband eats most of the pancakes in the house and isn't at all picky, I thought it would be fine and healthier than most other options. I was very pleasantly surprised, and have been converted back into a pancake eater myself.

Best pancakes EVER!
My entire (picky) family loves these pancakes! I just ordered my third case of them. I CRAVE these pancakes. I tried cutting out carbs a few weeks ago, the one thing I craved was these pancakes...not cookies, not bread. The first batch I made were with fresh-picked blueberries, and I fell in love! I eat these with organic maple syrup that I buy from Amazon, but they are also good plain. I mix them just as the package states, with organic 2% milk, a fresh egg from my own chickens, and either coconut or olive (yes olive!) oil and cook them in extra virgin coconut oil instead of butter. They always come out moist and fluffy. Yum! I can't wait until tomorrow morning so I can make these for breakfast again! I just ordered a waffle iron from Amazon so I can try the mix as waffles. I love Amazon, and I love Bob's Red Mill. Love their Scottish Oatmeal too!

OK not Great. Bob's Organic Whole Grain Buttermilk is Better
OK not great. My kids will eat them which is worth the 3 stars but my spouse won't so minus 2 stars. She mixes them with 50% bisquick which sort of defeats the whole grain "goodness"Recently we tried the Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Buttermilk (Made with organic whole grain) and all I can say is WOW. Not just OK, but better than bisquick. My kids kept on asking for more and we went through a double batch in a day.Unfortunately Amazon does not carry the buttermilk pancakes and the shipping from the 3rd party etailers and Bob's is outrageous.

When you want good, whole-grain, and good for you flours.
This is great stuff to make pancakes with but you may need to add a lighter flour to keep the pancakes light. I find if I mix one half rice flour it makes for lighter pancakes, the way we like. If you like a more dense pancake as is, is good. Bob's also works great in muffins and coffee cake recipes. Good product, good price, which makes in general for a good deal. Would highly recommend this product to others.

Delicious, Healthy & My Kids Love Them!
We recently switched over to a "clean eating" type of eating. Whole Grains, Veggies, Fruit...etc. But pancakes are a MUST in our house. My kids request them at least 2 or 3 times a week. So, I went searching for a mix that was not only healthy, but tasty too! Bob's did not disappoint. This stuff is delicious! I love that it's ground pretty fine, so you're not getting chunks of the healthy stuff in your pancakes. My kids have not even noticed a difference from the mix I used to buy at Costco. Sure, it's a bit more expensive than what I would buy from Costco, but seriously...knowing that I'm feeding my kids something organic, and full of good stuff is worth the difference in price. I would say that one bag makes at least 6-7 batches of pancakes. If not more. To help make them a little fluffier, I just add an extra TBSP or so of baking powder. Thanks, Bob's Red Mill!! You've made a convert out our family!
