Ordered on my crummy mobile screen for the great price on a leftie glove (all the others are double the cost here) and the color wasn't apparent. The boy wasn't impressed, lesson learned. I've left feedback to Amazon that the color should be noted in the text somewhere; colorblind people might also have trouble with this, so hopefully they'll notice this review.

My daughter is 3 yrs old and is left handed. I could not find a glove for her size in left hand throw so I went on Amazon to try and find one. This glove was perfect. You order by how your daughter throws to make sure the glove is for the correct hand. Rawlings has always made great products. The price couldn't be beat and I got the glove within 3 days. This was perfect all the way around.

We recently took our 4 and 7 year old daughters to a minor league baseball game. They instantly were drawn to the sport and we decided to get them each a glove. Rawlings is a reputable name in gloves as I remember my first glove being a Rawlings. I wasn't sure whether the glove came with the soft core training ball pictured in one of the product images, so I ordered two separately from the gloves. However, I found out that both actually arrived with the pictured ball. The ball won't work well for batting practice and I imagine it will rip at the seams if we try to use it that way, but it will work well to get them used to catching and throwing. Don't forget to break in the glove to make it easier for the little ones. I broke in the glove by going back to what I did with my first glove. Leave the training ball in the glove. Wrap some rubber bands around the glove to hold it tightly around the ball and stick it under their mattress. After doing this for a few days the glove became more flexible for the kids.Overall I am very pleased with the value and quality of the purchase and would highly recommend this as a starter glove.

This was too small for my 6yr old's bday present. It was teeny. Might have been perfect for her at 4 or if you have a really little 5 yr old. Ended up returning and purchasing a 10" glove.Quality though was top notch. The leather felt soft and pliable but not cheap. Would have been perfect if it had been bigger.

My left handed, four-year-old daughter loved the pink color and the styling, but make sure you realize that this glove is really more of a toy than a baseball glove. The lacing connecting two of the fingers popped and broke just months after we bought the glove.

It's so hard to find things for my little lefty, but this is great. Fit's her right hand well (she's 5), and she'll probably get at least a couple more years out of it. The ball is nice too in that it isn't super hard and is great for learning the basics.

The quality of this is not great. The first one I ordered was broken when I received it (string broken) and the second is not much better. However for a small child it will last fine for a season. Just don't expect much more out of it.
