pretty awesome
Just received my new purse today & immediately began stuffing it with all my things. I'm one of those women who carry the whole world in her purse, so I'm really picky about what I choose. Let me start by saying that this bag is super cute & holds a ton of stuff without looking like the Pillsbury dough boy in a Speedo. It maintains its shape well.Since I just received it, I can't speak to its durability but my initial impression is that it should hold up fairly well (even under abusive treatment). The stitching seems really strong & the material is canvas so no problems there. Canvas has always been known for its durability. The reason I gave it 4 stars & not 5 is the front flap.....the buttons are a bit of a hassle to open & close. The pocket under the flap can be reached even when buttoned but repeated tugging on that top seam & it's likely to rip (as any seam would under those conditions). The interior is a cute multi colored polka dot & is made from some type of satin & could get holes easily if pens are left opened or tweezers are left floating around. In order for this purse to maintain its shape while fully loaded they had to design it so that the separate compartments are forced to remain close fitting. This means that while everything goes in okay, you might have to pull a few things out in order to get to that note pad at the bottom. However, if you can keep everything organized & in its own compartment, you will be able to keep the unpacking down to a minimum. This bag has plenty of pockets & cubbies & I was able to find a designated spot for everything. It even had 3 pen/stylus holders....awesome addition to any purse or tech bag.Overall I believe that I will be happy with this purse, mainly because I can now carry my Kindle with me everywhere without worrying that it'll get banged around, dropped, or scratched. Thank God that purse designers are finally recognizing the tech needs of women. I personally believe that any purse being devoid of a outer cell phone pocket should be thrown away. I'll use the pocket under the flap as my cell phone pocket, but would be much happier if it had a pocket on the outside specifically designed for that. There's nothing I hate worse than missing a call because I'm digging around my purse for my phone....UGH!Well, that's my review. Long winded, but hopefully helpful.

The perfect purse--colorful and professional-looking
I love this purse. It has everything I want. It's big enough for my ipad (it even has a padded sleeve for the ipad), but not so big that I carry too much stuff with me. It opens and closes easily. It has useful pockets inside and no un-useful ones. The construction is solid. The fabric doesn't show stains or wear (I'm a mom, so stains are inevitable). The strap is the right length. The lining is water resistant. Awesome awesome awesome. Some nit-picky details that prevent me from giving it 5 stars...Some people might find the lining too bright to be professional. I'm a college professor, so I'm allowed a few funky details. I do tend to keep it zipped in situations where colored polka dots would be sneered at.The front buttoned pocket is impossible to get into. I love it, because I use it for my car keys--I have keyless entry, so I don't have to be able to access them, and that keeps them from banging around in the body of the purse, getting in the way. Others may find that pocket useless. The iPad sleeve divides the body of the purse in half. I can never remember which half things are in. I wish that the sleeve was integrated into the body of the purse, rather than being in the middle. There is a pocket for a smart phone. I wish that pocket was slightly more accessible.UPDATE: I like this purse so much, that I bought another one. It has held up very well over the long run. I don't coddle my purse, don't swap out for a different one, and have two sticky-fingered people to smear the outside with food and dirt. But I probably won't have to deploy my new purse for a while. My guess is that I'll get more than a year's daily hard use out of this purse, which given my lifestyle, is pretty awesome.

Great tech bag that looks like a purse.
I love this bag. It looks like a regular women's purse and doesn't scream I have expensive tech toys inside, please steal me. I bought this bag hoping it would fit my Microsoft Surface 2 (RT version) with Type Cover 2 Keyboard. The middle zippered pocket will only fit either an ipad or kindle hd not a Microsoft Surface 2. The middle pocket is padded on both sides. However the pocket that is positioned next to the body can fit a Microsoft Surface 2 with the keyboard with room to spare so a Microsoft Surface 2 Pro would probably fit too. This pocket has an inner zippered pocket where you could hide stuff from view. The other pocket which is on the button flap side has pockets of various sizes that can fit pens, lip liner pencil, small address book, cell phone on the side closest to the flap. The bottom of the purse has some padding that will protect whatever is inside from small falls. Even packed with a Kindle HD 7 inch and Surface 2, you still have room to carry a wallet, car/house keys and other misc. items. What is really nice is the top zipper completely closes so you don't have to worry about anything spilling out if it falls over.I am about 5'5" and I can wear this either as a shoulder bag or a cross body bag. The body of the purse hits me at my hip and the strap is wide enough to look like a cross body bag and not a chest separator. As far as the length of strap, it depends on the size of your torso, short or medium torso sizes should be ok while a long torso may have problems wearing this as a cross body bag. I am thinking of getting another one in a different color so I can swap them around.Edit: (10/16/14) Still in love with this bag. I have the Terra and this one. Both great bags. Recently, purchased Surface Pro 3 with type 3 cover and it just fits in the same place as the Surface 2. I would not put a sleeve on the Pro 3 unless it was a very thin one. I was worried that it wouldn't fit but it does. I still have room to pack the things I mention in the above review.

It didn't wow me as in the photo!
I specifically ordered the blue one but I don't know how, the order placed was khaki green. Really puzzling. Even now, when I click on the item ordered (supposedly blue), on the order page, it would display a blue bag.I think, even if I have received the blue one, I still would not be impressed by the - length (just as how some of the other customers had commented). It hangs awkwardly on the waist and hip. I just do not find it comfortable.Additionally, it is appears to be one of those really lightweight bag, which doesn't appeal to me, and the material used, it just doesn't stand out as in the photo. Even more so with the khaki green that I received.I was really looking forward to it but is disappointed by the size as well. The size that measured between the wrist to the elbow, smallish and squarish.I find the whole thing is just so misleading and is definitely not worth the price I paid for. I'll give it a 4 for design but as a sling bag, it's not the one.So, will I be keeping it? It would not be a surprise if I say - most likey 'no'.

Fab & perfect for my 10.5" (actual size) Tablet!
Fits a Nokia Lumia 2520 like a glove in the padded centre pocket. Amazon communications got muddled so I was sent a brown one but quick call to Coast Water Sports and all sorted, blue one dispatched and a refund for posting the other back agreed. Perfect product and service!
