I buy from Amazon all the time and this is the first time I have posted a review. These cakes are wonderful! I bought the egg/custard cakes. They are individually wrapped; 100 calories a pop; small but enough and at 100 calories you can always indulge in more than one. They are what a twinkie should have been but never was. Unlike a twinkie, they are not cloying sweet, the dough part feels natural and not spongy make-believe. The filling is delicious, not sugar, sugar and chemicals but something that tastes exactly like egg/custard. They taste natural and are made with natural ingredients. They are soft, wonderful, delicious. They should be on Subscribe and Save. I intend immediately to try the other flavors. Try these you won't be disappointed.

Had these many times overseas...pretty pricey compared to purchasing in Asian countries

Im a sweet freak so I keep this box of goodies in the frig. their not too sweet but just sweet enuf and come individually wrapped if I want to take for lunch.

i like that the cakes arrived in "fresh" condition. i am disappointed that the cakes have such a small amount of filling. too bad, i really like TIRAMISU. but i'll remain an Amazon Prime customer. this is one of the very few times that i have been disappointed by a purchase. keep up the good work Amazon

The picture on the box shows a cake full of custard filling. Make no mistake, that isn't what you get. You get a soft cake with a squirt of filling. Pretty disappointing actually. I will not be purchasing this again.

It's a little on the expensive side. And the box was damaged, so 2 of the cakes were smushed. However, these things are so yummy! Had them a long time ago and yep! They are exactly like I remember. Would probably buy again, in all honesty. But might look for a cheaper supplier next time. These cakes are fluffy and not overly sweet. Yum!

Absolutely delicious. The cake is very soft and fluffy. The custard inside is creamy and not too sweet. Upon opening the box I immediately ate two (oops) then later another 2 in the same day. Damn you Orion, making these ridiculously delicious treats!!!Only down side is the cakes are a little smaller than the choco pies, which is kinda sad :(

I started to crave for this ever since one of my friends gave me this as a home coming gift.I tried to look for this in different stores but I couldn't find it. So I thought, you know, I got Amazon.So I looked it up and found this. But boy I was surprised.This food is much more overpriced than bank interest rates for every loan you make.I mean, a food over a dollar for per pack of this? We have to keep in mind that this is a junk food and no matter how tasty the food will be, anything over $10 is too expensive.But that's not what we're here for is it?You want the taste. You want that creamy breaded delicious junk that is about to get into your stomach.Personally, after buying this food, I started to eat each one of these as if I was in some kind of poverty.For a junk food, way too expensive.3 stars for taste and -2 stars for the price.But when only considering the price, 5 stars without doubt.
