Bought to use in my elementary school classroom. I had another slide whistle I had bought at a toy store, and it was basically that--a toy. This whistle sounds great, is easy to use, and feels quality. My students love it and laugh every time we do high and low activities and vocal exploration with it.

Bought these as gifts for a 6 and 9 year old. Was tired of the little cheap plastic ones that really didn't perform that well. This really is like a musical instrument, well built with a nice sound. It fit the bill for what I was looking for. The kids enjoy playing with them. I wouldn't say they are a favorite toy by any stretch, but I really didn't anticipate they would be (and don't think I'd want to listen to them played constantly every day either...lol).

Bought this for our musical. It worked quite well. I had to "mike" it in order for the sound to be heard outside of the pit and front row. But it sounded good with amplification. The lowest and the highest pitches were a little weak, so I just started up a little bit and didn't run it all the way to the top. Nice metal finish of good quality. I would buy it again, just wish it were a little more reasonably priced. Seems expensive for what it is.

This will probably make you laugh! I wanted a good quality slide whistle with brass, and this is it. I decided to pay the price and order it. I had a purpose in mind. My brilliant and very humorous Standard Poodle assistance dog will sometimes sit outside, waiting for a reason to answer my call to come in. He also will sometimes howl with sirens... Well, he likes this slide whistle, and so far he comes in when I blow it! Money well spent, LOL!

I bought one of these for my sons to share, and we have been getting SO many laughs out of it. No one is safe... lol. Bend over, stand up, sit in a chair... now it all has a soundtrack to make people laugh. They fake sneezing and coordinate the ramp up and fake sneeze with the sound of the whistle.. they wolf call, they imitate R2D2 sounds. So overall a very well used and funny gift. Buy one and give it to "that" family member if you want a hilarious family gathering. Who knew it would be so fun? Thank you for your time.

I bought this to use as a warm up tool in my primary grade music classes. The kids all love it and have great fun echoing the slides I create on the whistle. The whistle is really good quality with a nice tone. I notice when it is cold in the morning, it is harder to play the higher pitches, but once the metal is warmed up, it plays nicely.
