IT WORKS JUST FINE!!
Love the product and I believe it is very well built and sturdy. It gets the job done and I am very happy I bought it. My primary venture is not stripping wire for the copper however I get enough of it that this product makes it a much easier and a much more profitable endeavor! I read all of the reviews and am glad I was swayed by the more positive ones. It took me awhile to figure it out as there are no "instructions" included (but there is a phone number). I looked at the photo and found a better one (photo) on another site that was selling the same item (for $13 more plus shipping). I never called the # and was able to figure out how to use the product in a few minutes. I am very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it. The price is right, it works great, delivery was prompt and I am doing well recycling copper wire!!

Does it’s job. Faster than stripping by hand
Overall a great product if your stripping wire on the side for extra cash. Arrived quickly, no damage and already assembled. It’s quite easy to adjust to your wire size. If you have a mixture of different wire types/sizes, I would highly recommend sorting your wire by same size to eliminate having to adjust so often for each wire.It takes a couple tries adjusting to the blade to the right depth but once you have it, it’s easy street from there. You do have to make sure your wire is not twisted as it will not pull it through with twists in the wireThe only negative thing I have noticed, is it seems you have to check the blade depth every once in awhile as it seems to loosen a bit but that’s an easy fix as you can adjust the bottom roller instead of the actual blade.Overall does what it’s supposed to and saves a ton of time than by using a knife or wire strippers.

is a good product
The WS-1270 Hardin fulfilled the expectations that I trained him, I'm an electrician and had always peeled by hand with a wire knife recovered from my work. He spent hours stripping wires of different calibers and different lengths for single lobtener 4 0 5 kilos of copper, install the WS-1270 Hardin on a particular column of my tank and started to try different sizes, from 16-gauge wire to that of grade 8, to 14, 12, and 10, as well as cable probe ST 2x16 and 2x14 and 2x16 nw, fully fulfilled its mission, obtube in 2 hours 16 kilos of copper, saving the blisters hands and the razor cuts.

Deffinently NOT the best , NOR is it the Worst.
OK I am going to say almost anything is better then the one you don't have. This item is decent quality, but would NOT go overboard with any higher praising, hum I guess lower as well. I see great potential if I did NOT have to readjust the roller (barring's) mounts often for the same passing cut.. Now either way I looked at it for some odd reason I could NOT stop SOME (NOT ALL) wire from just slipping out of grip. I don't think that it was me this whole time. I did like the fact that it is portable, clamp it to about anything or bolt it down to what ever. Load it up and pull away multi-strand wire with ease and solid core you may want to remove from spool or straighten out prior. Kinks and tangles suck. All in All... Still glad I picked this item up even with the technical difficulties a lot of time was saved and more then likely a case of carpool tunnel.

I takes a little time to get used to it but once you get it down and keep the cutter sharp It works great. Well worth it I tried
I tried utube strippers I bought two other cheaper strippers, Then I told myself that I would try this one. Even though this was more expensive it is well worth it. I takes a little time to get used to it but once you get it down and keep the cutter sharp It works great. Well worth it I tried then all if you have a lot of wire to strip just pull it through and it takes off the covering

It does what it suppose to, but barely!
If you are considering buy this, Don’t. This is not a good hobby starter. And it really is not for those who have a lot of cable to strip.First the good;It is of solid construction. And it is not flimsy. When it does work it can speed up the process slightly and you don’t have to fiddle around with a knife too much. So you minimize your chance to cut yourself. Now the Bad;The cutting pin is strong but not very deep or sharp so you will have to constantly change and adjust the pin position depending on the thickness of the plastic. And if its double layered which any worthwhile copper cable is then you have to do the process twice. Supper west of your time and effort. And forget about it if you have anything with a 1.5CM or higher diameter the designer was extremely short sighted, the three stabilizers need to be further out with longer adjusters. You can adjust in for small cables but not out so a cable like the cable pictured on their adds would fit but you won’t be able to secure it.You are fiddling and adjusting the tool enough that it does west a lot of time on just setup. It has a skinny designee and doesn’t feel sturdy when mounted; I wish it had a handle or a bigger footprint. There is no stabilizing unit to feed the cable so cable will always dangle and give you all kinds of traction issues and through put nightmare. You will hate yourself trying to feed the cables when it is Vertical. What I had to do is create a feeder system (kind of defeats the purpose of buying the tool)1. I cut a hole on two wood boards and mounted them aligned on a 2/4 frame so I can pull the cables through boards then pull through the tool for a more stable throughput.2. Still I had to constantly keep the tool aligned to the feeder system for some kind of a consistent flow. Every few minute something would come loose.3. Still it was quite difficult, so I then took the tool off of its mount and laid it flat on my feeder system as its better to pull up the cables.Unbelievably bad designee execution so makes the item super awkward to use no matter what.

Meh...
As is, this thing is as cheap as what you pay for it. It comes loose every two feet of wire and the factory blades are about as useful as a butter knife on dry pork chops. After several modifications, new edges on the blades, and some proper lubrication, this can pass as a mediocre wire stripping device. So, unless you have some time to kill and are as broke as I was, buy a nicer machine for the job. It will pay for itself over and over again.
