New Balance Women's WX623v2-W Cross Trainer

As mentioned in previous reviews, the toe area does seem snug. I was able to wear them all day, but was ready to take them off at the end of the day. I also have shoe orthotics that I place in my tennis shoes. This shoe is not mesh like all my other NB shoes. I figure this could be the reason for the snug fit all day. I more than likely will take the insert that comes with the shoe out, but leave my custom orthotic in. I feel this will take care of the snug feet. Other than that I like them.

I like having a "sneaker" that looks more like a shoe. I can only wear New Balance brand and was happy that these fit.It is hard to find a size 12 in women's shoes. I don't wear them often, or for long periods of time. They serve as kind of a dress shoe with jeans for me.I have *suffered* with Plantar Fasciitis for so many years that I do not know what it is like to walk without pain. I replace the insoles that come in the shoes I buy with a specific Spenco brand one. It doesn't work in all shoes, but it did for me with this style.They are an attractive shoes as well.

..but I can talk about this week. They fit small but I EXPECT THAT in athletic shoes. I always have to go up 1/2 size.I replaced the inserts with my custom rigid orthotics (3/4 length) and that not only gave me the right support but left more room in the toe area. They feel good, really good.I injured my knee so haven't tried anything over a walk. I have not been on wet concrete so can't attest to slipperiness, as did one reviewer.They are supposed to be leather uppers (by the web description), but the shoes don't state that anywhere and they sure look more like plastic than leather. I thought I could tell - perhaps not.I recommend them.

My husband told me time and again that New Balance was the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn. When it came time for me to get some new "sneakers", I decided to follow his lead. (I also ordered him a new pair as well.) He was so very right. I have bunions that can be extremely painful, but not in these shoes. I can walk longer and more. I have bad knees (no cartilage) and they help reduce the stress on both my knees and hips. We are going to Vegas soon and these are exactly what I was looking for. Will I buy them again? You Betcha!! Would I tell others to buy them? OF COURSE! And they come in all widths. If you can't find a comfortable fit, then you don't know how to fit a shoe.

I am having a little trouble on the right foot with little toe being a bit cramped but I will hang onto these as another model of cross trainer NB shoes I bought did the same but that has loosened up so I figure these will as well. Just have to break them in a bit I guess which I have not had to do really with NB other models of walking or cross trainer shoes. If I buy the B width they are just too loose and then I have lots of foot trouble.

I switched to "N" coil for a year and the shoe did not hold up to hear. I decided to go back to New Balance and am I glad I did. I was unsure about the quality of a shoe that was such a good price. I had nothing to worry about with this transaction. The NB shoe got to me very fast and when I put them on the fit! They are so comfortable I have gotten rid of my "N". Thank you amazon for having my unusual size in stock.

I have worn new balance for many years and thus far have I found no other shoe that delivers the comfort and durability of this new balance shoe. This is my first go around with the 623 style but so far I really like them. Very lightweight. I normally get the 608 or if that's not available I get the 610 style. All 3 styles are super in my book! I will definitely order again. Not to mention that 8 out of 10 times the size or style I am looking for is never available or in stock in the stores. Thankfully I can shop directly online and get the product! Very reliable!

I've always trusted NBs before, and I'm typically a perfect size 8 with most ANY brand, but am disappointed in these. They feel irregular for the normal NBs. The main part of the foot is fine, but the toe narrows too quickly and is uncomfortable at the 1st joint of my big toe on the left foot. I bought these for work where I'm on my feet all day, but I can't wear them for more than 30 mins a day. I can't tell if the arch support is adequate enough after only 30 mins because I have to change them. I've only worked them in 3-4 days and then went back to my OLD nasty ones. I don't normally buy shoes online and hate returning items, but I used a gift certificate from my son on these and am once again disappointed in amazon. Guess I have to keep looking outside of Amazon for the ideal work shoe.
