Best I've found yet
Best out of the 3 I tried recently! Edit to add: ok I wore a very thin tank under it (like a chemise under a corset) - total game changer! I wore this for 9 hours yesterday, at work!, And was totally comfortable the whole time. Granted, it was a cold winter day, so idk how comfortable it would be mid summer! But it was like being in a snug cocoon all day. I have a fairly physical job, lots of moving and lifting and carrying, and my movements weren't hindered by wearing this at all. I was more conscious of *how* I moved, but I was able to move as needed. No hooks popped open over.the course of the day. My original plan was to wear it till lunchtime and then take it off. But I was still comfortable by lunch, so I just left it on and wore it for the rest of my shift - no regrets! The hooks were a challenge to close - I wasn't actually sure I'd get them all closed 😅. But once I did, I was very pleased with the fit! And I'd rather take the time to go hook by hook and close it up, then struggle in and out of a pull-on girdle! I wasn't sure I'd get the last one off, and this was a dream to get off in comparison! I've only worn it under jeans to make dinner so far (planning to wear it to a dance) but I was able to move and bend just fine. It's not exactly*pleasant* to wear but ...that's kind of expected! And it provides better tummy control for a small tummy than any others I've found. I just have a little pudge I want smoothed over and this was the best yet for that. It does give you back fat where you never had back fat before 😜. But I guess it's got to go somewhere! And if I put it *right* at my bra line, it smushes the back fat a bit too. Pulling it down an inch seems to create more back fat. It wasn't the *most* comfortable around the bustline, but it just felt like any slightly ichy bra might so...I can live with that! If I can remember, I'll update after the dance. I'm hopeful that it doesn't pop open under extreme movement 😅. So I guess we'll see! I don't really want to wear it to work, so I don't have a chance to really test it out.

Amazing, comfortable, cute!
I was not optimistic when I ordered this, but I needed something to wear under dresses. I started a new medication. I used to be a size zero and I can’t afford a full new wardrobe right now. For a corset, it’s extremely comfortable! I can wear it all day with no trouble. I can bend easily, it doesn’t shift or move, it doesn’t roll, and it’s actually really cute! None of the lines show under my clothing, I even went dancing at a nightclub for hours with no trouble! I am currently a size 4 and it allows me to easily fit into size 0 clothing around the waist. Adding shapewear shorts is the best combo! The corset goes underneath the shorts and then I’m good to go. I can wear anything! And I look amazing. Thank you so much Maidenform for designing a functional but also pretty, high quality, and well made corset option for women!

Better than Spanx
So I couldn't decide between the Flexees vs. the Squeem shapewear so I bought both to compare. To be honest I kept both but here's some feedback if it helps anyone. I am 5'4", 130lbs, 35" bust, 30.5"waist, 35" hips. If you are looking for good waist control the Flexees definitely does the job at a GREAT price. I bought the medium and it fits perfectly (it was hard to pick a size after reading all the reviews). I can wear it for hours, but definitely after 8 hours you will start noticing the boning jabbing into your chest. I am not well endowed but if you are I would imagine it would be a lot more painful/troublesome. Bottom line though, it really smooths out my sides and gives me curves where I don't really have them. I wear it interchangeably with the Squeem (described below). I never wore any kind of waist controller before a few months ago and now I'm addicted. I didn't think I would want to wear them everyday but it's actually quite comfortable and keeps my posture. I don't know about the reviews that say to wear it backwards....I wear it w/the closures in the front and it looks/works great. The Squeem is made out of a weird material I thought I would hate but it's also quite comfortable. The Squeem definitely has firmer control and pulls my waist in a little bit more. I can also wear this for about 8 hours a day before I really start noticing it. I bought this in the medium and to my surprise it came with 2 rows of eye hooks that give you about 1/2 inch option (i.e. tighter if you want it). I think this extra row is great. This is more expensive than the Flexee but gives firmer control. There is a "plastic" smell but other people won't notice it and you only notice it when you are taking in on/off. I have a pair of Spanx. Don't bother buying any kind of control from them. They don't do as good of a job, and in order for them to stay put they need to snap at the crotch (really annoying when it's bathroom time) AND they have straps that pull on your shoulders. And they are insanely expensive compared to Flexees or Squeems. Bottom line - worth the price and works well

runs very small
This product runs extremely small. The size chart makes no sense. I wear a size 14 dress and weigh 165 pounds. I needed a size 2x

Works great!
So, I am 5'4" and about 147lbs. My waist is 30-31 inches depending on the time of day or my meals. I thought I would have to purchase a small to get the results I wanted, but I am glad I didn't. I ordered the Medium and it fits perfectly. It is nice and snug, slims me down, and smooths the small bumps that we all have of stubborn fat. I am going to wear this for my wedding, and it is actually not uncomfortable when I tried it on. Good quality for the cost! Win, win! It covers me down to my pelvis and smoothes out that little bloop there. It was easy to put on too.

Black. Size Large.
Well I'm PO'ed. Royally. So I weight 145 lbs. Waist 36". Hips 40". Why would I lie? But evidently someone is not being truthful about their size chart for this shapewear by Maidenform. First things first. There is a size chart on the page that has pics of the waist nipper SM fits a waist 34-38". M fits a waist 39-41". L fits a waist 42"-44. XL fits a waist 45"-47". 2X fits a waist of 48"-50". By Maidenform's size chart I could have ordered the SM but I decided against that just because it's at the very end of my waist size and I know how girdles and corsets can be...VERY VERY TIGHT and run small. So I consider the size M. Something just told me to order the L even though it's for a 42" waist (by Maidenform's size chart) I'm thinking I'll start too big and work backwards. I also realized that there are 3 rows of hooks and eyes and maybe just maybe the tightest one will fit and if that's too tight surely the last row will. So I ordered the Large. I got it today. I tried to put it on and it would not even reach the first row which is at the end of the stretch. I mean I pulled until both arms were trembling and there was a gap several inches wide. So now what do I do? Order the XL which is supposed to fit a waist 45"-47"??? Come on. Honestly with the L being SO TINY and impossible to fit I know that the XL will not fit either. Soooo should I order the 2X in the hopes that my 36" waist will fit into a garment size that goes up to 50" yes that's right I said "FIFTY INCHES" big! Oh and that's not all. It gets worse. There is also another size chart much further down on the page that is just for the HIPS. Now remember I have 40" hips. S their "hips only" size chart says that a M fits hips 39"-41". According to their hip size chart that Large I ordered and doesn't fit should fit hips 42"-44"! I am literally disgusted with Maidenform right now. I expected SO much better from a company that has been around for SO long. A Large should have fit me and possibly perfectly because by Maidenform's TWO different size charts, one for the waist size, the chart further down the page for the hip size it would have fit and possibly been too loose. I have doubts by how insanely off the Large is that if I ordered a 2X that it would be big enough to TIGHTLY hook into the largest setting the hooks and eyes on the very end of the waist opening.

Post-partum lifesaver
Following my second pregnancy, I realized something was wrong when my stomach was still huge weeks after giving birth and my back hurt just from holding my baby. I realized that I had a 7 finger wide diastasis recti (and I'm not huge - 5'4, 120 lbs) and major loose abdominal fascia. I guess my 8 lb babies pushed my abs to the outer limits! Of course I researched every waist reducer out there. I ended up purchasing the Tupler Technique DVD and waist support, the Squeem in medium, and the Flexees by Maidenform in size medium (I was about 130 lbs with like a 38" waist at the time and it was perfect for me post-partum wise). I'm sure the Tupler Technique has great merit, but I wasn't able to commit to it with 2 little children and the waist support pushed my organs down, putting pressure on my already weak pelvic floor. The Squeem was much tighter and harder to fit in / put on. The cheapest option, Flexees, worked the best for me. It gave me back support and put my tummy back where it belonged so I could fit into my work clothes when I had to go back to work 3 months postpartum. It was easy to slip on over my hips (I would connect the corset pieces and then put it on feet first). Honestly, I don't know what I could have worn the 6 months following my pregnancy without this - people would have thought I was 20 weeks pregnant. Although the corset snaps showed through on clingy fabrics, you can always put on a cami over it to help hide it. What a small price to pay to be able to go out in public and have your tummy match the rest of your body! For you gals out there with a severe diastasis, it took a long time for me to get better. The jury is out on belly binding, and I'm not sure if wearing this corset made me not use my ab muscles as much and delayed healing, but I felt like I needed it for protecting my back and helping me lift my baby and toddler. I stopped wearing it regularly probably about 7 months post-partum. I felt like I could finally sit up in bed without having to turn on my side about 10 months post-partum. Now, at 14 months post-partum, my core is still very weak and looks pretty awful. I really hope I can do a tummy tuck after I finish breastfeeding, as I think that is really the only way to get my abs where they need to be. Other people are different and have had great success with other techniques, but for someone with a severe diastasis on a budget, I wish I had just started with this.

Quality and comfort are the best reasons for trying this out
This shapewear is the best of all I have ,it is so comfortable and soft! I don’t have to wear the pull up ones that made me uncomfortable and tight on the top of my legs. The size is true no irritation,I highly recommend it if you never tried one !
