VeggieTales - The Bumblyburg Superhero Value 4-Pack [DVD]

Kids up to about nine or ten will love this..I will say that first off there are only 3 3d shows in this pack and the others are old school 2d show wich we haven't even watched yet...lolI think they coulda got all the stuf in this pack on 2 dvd's instead of 4 because ach dvd only contains 1 show...but anyway if you want our kids to see programming that isn't about violence this is a great choice...and it deals with issues teaching right from wrong and how decent folk should behave...lol.its actually pretty funny... as an adult I can tolerate it being played over and over like kids do....or Ive just become numb...I dunno.. but buy this and support wholesome entertainment for children...

Good entertainment that appeals to little children is hard to come by. As a grandparent, I choose DVDs with themes and content that keep my grandchildren coming back again and again for the fun, the action and the message behind it all.Let's face it, our kids are being sold by something all the time, why not steer their lives in a positive direction through entertainment. Disc 4 is a waste of money. It is an inane attempt to make a standard cartoon of Larryboy, complete with watered down biblical themes, convoluted plots, and non-digital animation. the other three discs are great, classic VeggieTales. How did the creators let the cartoon happen? Did they get greedy/stupid, or did they inadvertently sign away their creative control? I give it 4 stars for the other 3 discs.

This collection has been on my 4-year old's list of favorites since it arrived five months ago. The good thing is, I enjoy watching them with her. Having the four CDs in one package, we have lots of enjoyment for a great price. Having the 2-D cartoons is nice, and it introduced us to new villains and new superheros. This is a fun way to teach or reinforce lessons about teamwork, egos, anger, and other subjects that help good kids grow up to be great adults. As the mother of a true VeggieTales fan, I must recommend this one!

My eight-year-old is going through a superhero phase. You should have seen him Easter morning when he saw he was getting all the Larry Boy movies/cartoons. The price was worth it a hundred fold, and I like the Veggies too. Great packaging in a convenient fold-out format, excellent art work, and easy-to-navigate, kid-friendly DVD menus. I recommend it to all the Veggie Tales fans in your life.

We love this package! We have three kids between the ages of 4 and 7, and have had this dvd set for quite some time (we made this more recent purchase as a gift for relatives based on our enjoyment of the set). We all enjoy it, even the girls! It's great to have a superhero who has a strong, healthy message about God's love for them and role in their lives. Besides that, LarryBoy is just so much fun!

I am pleasantly surprised at what you get for the money and my son loves veggie tales, but I was a little dissappointed in the stories. I didn't find them as captivating as our only other larry boy adventure: "larry boy and the bad apple", but maybe over time they will get more catching.

I am so glad I brought this. This is really a steal. You get 3 DVD's of Veggie stories plus the cartoon (bonus 4th). My child loves Veggie Tales so it was quite a deal to get this bundle. If you want your child to learn the importance of being honest, not to gossip and other good values, you will love this DVD collection. It's funny, on the level for kids and adults would like it too.
