Exaclty what is promised.
These are great after ruining several other headphone sets with my sweat. I run about 5mi three times a week, and most weekends I also go for a 6mi trail run. Needless to say, I sweat a lot. These have worked perfectly even if they get very wet from the sweat on my hair, although I have to say I have not tested them underwater.Be aware that these may be a little uncomfortable for some people, as they are relatively invasive: they go all the way into the ear and kind of pressurize it, which feels a lot different when you're running that when you're just, say, sitting in the bus listening to music. The one thing that gives me trouble with these is the length of the cable. It is fairly short (I didn't realize this before the purchase), so if you're tall chances are you probably won't be able to extend it all the way into your shorts' pocket. This is a problem because these hold very firmly to the ears, and so you actually feel them pulling on you during your workout if the cable is over stretched. This can be very distracting when I run, so my solution was to use an armband for my mp3 player.

Finally an earbud that holds up to sweaty workouts!
I love these little earbuds. I have been searching forever for earbuds that will stay in my ears while I run or workout and also won't completely break the bank. I was about to resign myself to dropping some serious cash on the Bose Freestyle earbuds when I decided to take a chance on these ones. These have a bendy metallic lining near the earbud, so you can choose to make them over the ear if you'd like or you can wear them as normal earbuds. The sound quality likely won't please the pickiest audiophiles, but they are plenty loud and sound just fine to me.The best part about these little guys is that they are completely waterproof. If you tend to run in the rain/snow or just sweat an unholy amount when you work out (like I do), these are a lifesaver. They stay in your ear and there is not danger of them shorting out due to sweat. I even accidentally sent mine on a trip through the washing machine and they still work fine!Should be noted that there is no microphone/track switching/volume adjustment dongle on these, so if that is a must-have for you then these may not work out the best.Overall, wonderful earbud for any price, but especially for what you pay!

Cable is too short, plug is slightly to small
The cable is slightly too short, which causes the audio jack to pull out slightly if you keep the audio device in your pocket or a waist strap when you run. This probably causes the "poor audio" (No Bass) problem one reviewer mentioned (since the bass end of the audio is the first to go as the jack gets pulled slightly out of place). It also probably causes the "won't stay in" problem another reviewer mentioned (although I found this problem went away entirely when I switched to slightly larger ear buds -- they provide multiple sizes). I am going to get an armband to see if that solves the "too short" problem. If not I will be sending them back.-- UPDATE -- So, the arm thing didn't help. The problem is that the jack is just a little to small, and it won't stay put in the jack on my phone (yes, other jacks work fine). I suspect this is a manufacturing quality issue -- I'll bet they work great if you get one of the ones that is milled correctly. I will be sending mine back.

The dilemma of a good product with lagging longevity
I really like these headphones for swimming. When you are swimming, you don't care about sound quality -- you assume the sound quality is going to be less than land headphones. They fit well, water doesn't get in my ears. I have purchased many pairs of them as well as the other selections from this company. What I don't like is that they do not last long. My last pair made it through maybe 6 weeks. And guess what? I just purchased another pair. I am hoping this pair lasts three months....but will probably buy another pair if it doesn't.

Poor construction, annoying to use.
Soo..... These are supposed to be waterproof. They might be, except when the barely glued plastic on the earpiece came apart exposing the internals I doubt they were anymore. I realize manufacturing costs have to be kept down to keep products affordable and I probably just got a bad set. Also, I found the bendable wires/earpieces more of an annoyance since I wasn't bending them for use as an earpiece. Their stiffness makes them move awkwardly when running sometimes pulling the buds out of my ears. I had to use the clip to solve this, but then you have to worry about clipping it just right so you can turn your head without pulling the buds out.The sound was good and the different earpiece material a nice touch. And they play LOUD. These plusses are the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Altogether too much work and I returned them.

great earphones, but kinked cable
I've had a set of these previously, and this set equals the fit and sound quality. The included ear bud tip options allow the fit to be adjusted to each ear (I need to use a different one for each ear). Disappointing, however, was that the sound cable came wrapped in a tight loop and has kinks that cannot be relaxed, so the cord does not hang smooth and wraps awkwardly for storage. This affects my overall opinion of the purchase.

Will not stay put
Looked all over and settled on these due to seemingly having all of the features I was looking for. Even with a good earbud fit, the ear wraps do not stay bent and when they straighten, the earbud pop out. I emailed the company and will follow up when I hear back from them. I do not want to have to pay for a return and wait for a return. I would like the pair to do what they purport to do. Anyone have similar issues? Anyone try any other pairs from this company with more success? I did buy a $15 ear wrap/band to keep them in place and that barely works to do so as well. Thanks for any input you can provide.

Didn't work for me.
For the last 20 years of my life, I've been searching for running headphones that I could depend on. I've purchased many different brands, expensive and cheap, with largely less than spectacular results. Unfortunately these are no different. The left earphone cut out after only about a week of use of indoor treadmill use. Right now i'm running about a 5K at a time as well, so this isn't more than 23 minutes at time.
