1183900 HEPA Filter Tower Air Purifier, Design to Fit Air Purifier Model APT30010M, APT40010R, APT42010M, APT50010M and APMT2001M, 10.1x4.6 inch

I reorder these frequently as we have two tower air filters in my kids' rooms that use them. They work well, catch a lot of junk we'd otherwise be breathing in and seem to have a pretty impressive lifespan considering we never turn our air filters off. We have two cats and a dog, and the So Cal air can be somewhat iffy, so I definitely am on Team Filtered Air. The only thing I will warn other people about (which has nothing to do with product quality) is that depending on your tower, you may need to order two of these for each tower. Ours require two and yet somehow I always forget and order just one for each. It's my own fault, but it's annoying to receive the filter and realize you can't even use it yet because you have to order another. C'est la vie. Wish they were a little cheaper, considering the towers are on the older side now and I'm sure they've invented fancier ones by now, but I guess that's the price you pay for peace of mind and health.

I bought two of these for my Whirlpool Tower Purifier since that's what it takes and I really do think they are worth the money. The ones that I have in there now have gone through two full winters and our winter's up here in New Hampshire consist of from Oct to May. We don't get much Spring here and Autumn comes fast and beautiful but chilly. These filters have helped my asthma and have helped me from getting as many colds and I do believe that is because of the cleaner air they provide. I do hope my Purifier will last me at least a few more years cause I really like this one the best of all that I have tried. I highly recommend the Whirlpool HEPA Tower Air Purifier.

No idea if they are true hepa as they are made in china by an aftermarket company. But I imagine so do the original whirlpool filters, Heck I wouldn't be surprised if both come from the same factory. They also fit better than the original filters and come with extra pre filter screens. They look legit and seem to catch and clean the air very well. I know this because I live within 1 mile of 2 steel plants and very fine coal dust is a big problem for my family, Which is why I have 2 of these air filters going 24/7. I would rate them pretty high.

There is not much to be said. These are the OEM units for appropriate air filters. I replace them annually and these work well as replacements.

We have several Whirlpool HEPA tower air filters and they seem to work well - not sure how to quantify the performance! Unfortunately, replacing the two HEPA filters in each unit is not much less than the original tower unit cost so it almost is cheaper to buy completely new units when on sale! The Whirlpool tower units indicate when to change filters based on time, not filter contamination. Although not recommended, we do vacuum the HEPA filters once and reinstall them to get twice the life out of them to save cost.

These filters amaze me by the amount of dust they take out of the air and prevent it from entering our bodies. No, it does not clean every single particle; however, it removes what it can detect and holds each little piece until discarded. The purifier has to come close to removing all of the particles; however, if it does, it would fill up so fast the supplier could not match the demand nor be in a position to resupply at the heavy useage. It has struck that happy and overused middle ground so the average user can benefit from it. Whirlpool does the job and does it better than I thought it would.

Filters fit well. Purifier does a great job. Wish they came in a 2 pack for less cost.

Always buy the professional filters for this unit. It always pays off and ensures my air purifier will last for years to come, very pleased with quality.

Love the product however was surprised that the items were shipped from two separate companies? Was unable to change the filters until the second filter arrived.
