KitchenAid KHB1231CB 2-Speed Hand Blender Electric Mixer, 8", Cranberry

I recently purchased the KitchenAid KHB1231IC 2-Speed Hand Blender, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets! This hand blender is powerful, efficient, and super easy to use. With two speeds, it handles everything from blending smoothies to pureeing soups with ease. The design is sleek and comfortable to hold, making it a breeze to maneuver. Cleanup is a cinch, as the removable blending arm. Overall, this hand blender has exceeded my expectations and has made meal prep so much easier. I'm a kitchen gadget fiend and freely admit it. There are some items that I buy and then realize they aren't as useful as I thought they would be. Others becomes indispensable. This blender definitely falls in that category! I've had it for 8 years and it's still working as beautifully as it did on day one. This little guy is a great deal - great brand which has well made products and easy to use customer service if you ever need it. This is a good price on a stick/immersion blender, and it comes with a very handy container with lid to blend/store in. Although you can blend in any container it can be hard to find ones with nice tall sides to help prevent splatter. Mostly important if you're working with something hot or something that might stain! I use this most often to correct lumps in my frosting or white sauces. I also use it to quickly thicken up soups by partially blending them. It may not have the power of my Vitamix but it does an amazing job and it very quick/easy to pull out AND clean up. Nice long cord to reach all the way into the pot on the stove from wherever your outlet may be. My only complaint is that food can build up along the edge of the rubber seal on the inside of the metal area covering the base of the blades. I normally use a toothpick to clean along this edge and once in a while run a knife under the lip to make sure all the gunk gets cleaned out. Other than that I love everything about the design of this blender and wholeheartedly recommend it!

We personally love this hand blender. Well-made and the DC motor has plenty of power. This is our second one and the previous one we had for many years and used the heck out of it. The old one still works but the motor runs a bit erratic, so we replaced it with another just like it.

I have had this product for awhile before making this review. It has 2 speeds, high and low power, both of which work great! It will grind up pretty much whatever you need. Great for soups, salsa, ect. It’s quality made, stainless steel shaft and blades. Easy to clean up after use, twist off blade assembly and it’s good to go.

From the wife: I bought this blender back in July to replace one that broke quite a while ago. I received the product in a timely manner. What I like about it: 1. It's a pretty strong little immersion blender. I've used it many times and am pleased with how it works. I've not tried it with ice but I have blended frozen fruit for a smoothie and it worked really well. Last night I used it to mix organic peanut butter with the oil on top and I almost thought I broke it as it stopped working lol. But I just had to clean out the blade area and it worked fine after that. It can be tough mixing that type of peanut butter so it gave me a chance to check out how it would do. 2. I like that I can take this hand blender apart to store it and that the bottom half is made of metal. 3. I like that it came with a container with a to lid make my smoothie in. It's not a strong plastic container so I'm not sure how long it will last. What I'm not so keen on: 1. I don't care for the fact that you have to hold the button in to keep the blender on as you blend with it. It's a bit uncomfortable and tiring. Someone with arthritis might find it difficult. it would be nice to just press the button to turn it on and then one to turn it off, something I failed to check for. 2. As others noted, you have to line up the two halves of the blender just right and then turn to lock it. I like the fact that it is strong and stays put, but it can be a little hard to turn and take a part if your hands are even slightly wet or greasy. Make sure your hands are completely dry. All in all I am very happy with this blender.

Just can't get enough!!! . It does it job and very well done. If people took 5 minutes to read instructions bad reviews about this product would not be posted. This product is not defective, the handle does not come off as many have said. Don't forget that this is a 200 watts hand blender, so use it for the right cause, like sauces, purée, etc. I would never make a pash potato with this, or try to make a very thick smoothie because it won't work, I definitely love how my baby's food comes out. This is my third hand blender, the last one I had it survived 7 years !!! Yes, I used it and I wore it out. If you are a momma who wants to make nice purés for your babies, or just a great cook who loves having gadget around the kitchen to make your work easier, then, this is the right product. People have said about the blades braking easily, but once again, This is a 200 watts hand blender, not a vitamix blender, if used properly, I am sure you will love it as much as I do 🤗 Ps: hand wash it immediately after use, let it air dry. I don't put my nice knives in the dishwasher or anything that has blades.

I've been wanting a stick blender for some time now and took a while to settle on a brand since there are so many out there. I decided to invest a little bit more on quality and decided to go with KitchenAid on this one, and BEST DECISION EVER. The blender itself feels sturdy and made with high quality materials, so I know it won't break anytime soon. I've been using it 3-5 times a week for the past couple months and it's as good as new. I use it to make all kinds of sauces, n-ice cream, smoothies, acai bowls...you name it. Overall very easy and handy to operate with 2 speeds, and the motor runs really strong. It's especially very convenient and I find myself picking it up way more than the traditional blender I have because it's much easier to wash and so much more convenient. Highly recommended!

Well made product from kitchen aid, would never doubt that. Easy to use and works great for making pizza sauce, smoothies and other pasta sauce.....that's really all I needed it for. Very nice design and easy to clean, serves its purpose very well. Excellent buy and the price very reasonable.

Love this blender, such a great purchase. Love that I can mix up my butternut squash soup right in the pan, make my own mayo, mash potatoes all with just one appliance. Really like the colour too and it was better priced than purchasing from a store.

We have a blender, but one thing that always drove me nuts is cleaning it, and how much space it takes. After becoming pregnant, I decided to introduce larger amount of healthy shakes. Which that said, I decided to invest in hand blender. I read bunch of reviews, and decided that the most important functions for me is: must crush frozen fruits, ability to use it in large soup pot, not too expensive. I found KitchenAid and was really happy with the design. It's been now about a month since I had it. I made quite few shakes with it, without a problem. Two speed feature is wonderful. Just remember, don't put a lot of frozen fruits all at once, this thing has it's limits. But if you add liquid and slowly keep adding frozen pieces, it does the job no problem! My boyfriend used it for mushing the soup in large pot, and absolutely loved it. The long arm is fantastic. Build is solid, well made. Button is covered with silicon layer, which makes cleaning a breeze. I managed to buy mine on Amazon and save $40. Which was a fantastic deal. Well recommended! My blender is now officially collecting dust.

Love this immersion blender. After wasting so much money messing up homemade mayo, we bought this and have not looked back. This is so convenient when making soups, no need to pour hot liquid into a blender or food processor anymore - just blend it up right in the pot. Also gives you more control over leaving a little texture in soups (ie. some mushroom pieces in a mushroom soup vs fully pureed) Would not hesitate to buy again. The bottom part detaches and can be placed in the dishwasher. I find the easiest way to clean it is just with soap and water in a mason jar, turn it on to blend (carefully!) and then rinse and wipe down with a cloth
