Why didn't I get one of these sooner? Great product - I would have felt so bad if my kid had gotten hurt because I was too cheap to buy this pad.I like this product more than the more expensive one that has the padded pyramid base, because I mow and weedwack up close to it and don't have to worry about damaging the bottom piece. Plus - it is actually LESS of a trip hazard close to it - seems to me that the bottom padded base option would be a total waste of money that adds no real value.

in addition to installing our new Goalrilla basketball hoop, we added the padding kit for the pole. The kit comes complete with everything you need and installs in minutes. Instructions are included but it really simple to buckle and tighten. This kit increases the safety for everyone on the court.

Good looking product and was longer/taller than the pad I replaced it with so that’s good. Velcro straps are way too long but I cut them and it looks fine. I wish there was just a tad more padding

My hoop pole is 6x6 so it is at the maximum size for this product but it dies fit. And installed in less than a minute. Worth the price to keep someone from slamming into the pole during pick up games. Only wish it was a little lower in price.

This is my second unit as my original rotted after years of service. I was expecting the new o e to be high quality like the original. This new pad arrived doubled over in its cardboard box. Tape everywhere keeping it held together. The UPS guy even commented on bad shipping container design. Worst part was the pad was anemic in thickness. The black vinyl seems empty. It’s like the internal cell structure was defective. All in I am out $129. This can’t be right! No protection from the 5x5 pole even with this “pad”.

This is a great addition to protect us from the metal pole!

Plenty of padding for normal play.

Seems a lot of $ for what you get. I boughtbecause son in law wanted.
