Great Low Maintanance Smoker!
This is a very nice smoker and the Bradley company backs their products completely. Upon arrival, the front door was damaged during shipment. With one phone call I had a new door delivered to our home in Alaska within a week, directly from the company. I was also assurred that any future problems would be handled with such prompt and curtious responses. I would recommend the smoker to anyone who hasn't the patience or desire to constantly feed wood or chips into a non-digital smoker. This one has a wonderful feeding stack and does a tremendous job. I bought it as a birthday gift for my husband thinking that I wouldn't be inclined to use it. However, that's not the case at all. Due to the obvious user friendly digital display panel, I had no problems cooking with it myself. I recommend this smoker to anyone! We love it!

Happy Smoker
I have owned a Bradley Digital 4 rack smoker for 7 years, I have been very pleased with it. In the past I used it very infrequently until I discovered the Bradley forums, then after reading peoples experiences I increased my knowledge and branched out into the smoking world, I just recently experienced a small grease fire in my smoker which pretty much burned it up, I am replacing it with a 6 rack digital. After reading the negative reviews for this product I had to give my two cents. Yes the factory temp sensor is inadequate, but any fault with this smoker can be overcome. First you can add a small fan kit which will circulate the air inside, you can also add an additional heat element which will greatly inprove the cooking times. If you are a serious smoker you will see the need for a PID which will control the temps far better and is highly accurate. Yes you will spend some extra money but the end result is far worth it. My best advice is to do some research before you purchase one of these smokers, you may decide that this one is not for you, if you get one you will not be disappointed once you realize what its potential is. Also visit the the Bradley smoker forums, any possible question you may have about this smoker has already been asked by someone else and has been answered.

Run away from this smoker
Don't buy this smoker. It's under powered and it doesn't even do what it's supposed to do. Since I buying this in February I've done probably 20 smokes with it.... and never have I once been able to finish the pork butts in the smoker. The longest I let it go before just finishing the meat in the oven was 20 hours. The element is far too weak. I want to say it's around 500 watts. I think the majority of the problem though is that it's a vertical smoker. If I try to do more than 1 pork butt the temperature difference between the two is ridiculous. Not a 5 degree difference, more like 15 to 20. If I could go back and spend the $400 I spent on this on a Traeger instead, I would in a heartbeat. Oh and the pellet feeder/stack warped from the heat and now the pellets don't even auto feed into the smoker. It's been in use since spring rolled around in April. This smoker was a waste of money. I dread the days I have to use this. Save yourself the frustration and splurge on a horizontal smoker. This is a waste of time, money, and good meat. I couldn't be more disappointed in it. Oh, and the internal thermometer on this is about 25 degrees off. Run away as fast as you can. I legitimately wish I could give this 0 stars.

I was fortunate to have a lot of venison to smoke this ...
I was fortunate to have a lot of venison to smoke this year so I bought this smoker. The summer sausage, snack sticks and brats turned out great. Unlike my dehydrator, which has convection, the bottom racks cooks the fastest and the top rack the slowest. This just means that these two racks need to be flip flopped mid way through the process. It arrived in two days and was in perfect condition. Bradley goes the extra mile with their packing material to ensure that damage during shipping is unlikely. It took 10 minutes to assemble and after reading through the instruction manual I was off to the races.

Great electric smoker
I do like this smoker a lot. I'm glad I got the bigger size and the digital controls. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is that the max time on this cooker is, I think, 9 hours and 40 minutes. Maybe I'm missing something and someone will be quick to point it out if I'm wrong but that's the max time I can give it. It's not the end of the world because I just add more time before I go to bed but I got this type of smoke to set and forget. Anything less than that, it's a non-issue. The other thing is I haven't been able to test how long I really get out of a full load of pucks. For my ten-hour timer, they were all gone by the time I woke up which was less than ten hours. Plus, many of them weren't fully burnt which could have been a fluke. I also bought the cold smoke adapter which I regretted. I subsequently bought the A-Maze-N pellet smoker tray which I use to cold smoke things. Easier to use that versus hooking up the cold smoke adapter and cheaper too. The pellets are cheaper than the pucks and you can get up to 11 hours with the 5x8 size pellet tray. I think what will end up happening is I'll use the pucks for anything up to six hours and the pellets for longer cooks. I settled on this one after considering the wifi smokers and the ones with glass doors. In the end, who cares about wifi or Bluetooth connectivity and a glass door will just turn black after your first smoke anyway.

Der Räucherofen ist nicht schlecht. Nur das Räuchern in den kalten Jahreszeiten ist schwierig. Temperatur verliert sich durch die Wende.

Smoker wouldn't come to temperature, the build quality was disgusting. vast difference from my first Bradley Smoker. Amazon ordered me a replacement, but I think I'm just going to send it back and get a different option. PS. Bradley customer service was terrible, refused to help and just pointed the finger at Amazon

This smoker is very user friendly and a great smoker for beginners. It was easy to set up and the user manual is very simple to follow. The automatic feeder is great as you can set it, load it up and it will only go for as long as you like. The only con I can find with this smoker is the heating element is at the back side of the smoker. I find that you have to turn your racks every so often to cook evenly since the back side heats up more then the front.
