Purchased this to replace the Littman I had received after graduating nursing school three years ago. My old one had shaped to my neck and the tubing became stiff, so I needed a replacement as the tubing was not under warranty. The product arrived timely in appropriate packaging. The stethoscope came with the box and all accessories as listed. The ear pieces are clear, which I guess I didn't really notice but is different than I have seen. The rose gold is beautiful, does not appear "copper" to me as listed in some other reviews I read. I hesitated as this one is listed 1+ oz heavier than my previous stethoscope, but I wore it a couple shifts and it didn't seem to bother me. The tubing is soft and flexible, and also is lengthier than my previous one which I like. The sound quality is good to me, but having only had average middle of the road stethoscopes I'm not a great judge on sound quality. The diaphragm flips back and forth with ease, but not so easy it moves on its own. Accessories are nice as you can attach a name tag if wanted, and test out the ear pieces to see what fits best. I opted for the standard because they seem the most comfortable. In review I would recommend this to someone looking for an average to good quality stethoscope that has a little flare. Definitely looks different than any I've seen, and the colors looo great with our grey scrubs. I work in an ER so the quality is appropriate and I'm happy with the product! I did give this only a 4-star as I'm not a huge fan of the clear ear pieces. I'm worried, as gross as it is, that ear wax/skin particles will be noticeable as the whole piece is clear. Typically I clean my stethoscope with alcohol wipes pretty frequently, but I just feel I'll have to keep a closer eye on this to make sure I don't have a gross ear piece hanging around my neck.

The reason I bought this stethoscope is because my girlfriend took my Littman Classic II. Her and I are both in EMS and have used several different stethoscopes. The issue you face most of the time in an ambulance setting is that no matter how good your stethoscope is, there is A LOT of background noise specially while you're moving. I work for a more rural department with a decent call volume and sometime our transport times are upwards of 45 to 50 minutes from the scene to the hospital. So on calls where you actually need your stethoscope for ongoing assessments, most stethoscopes end up under-performing. I saw good reviews on this bad boy and had used some other MDF models that our department keeps on hand, so I thought I'd give it a shot. What a world of difference! the MDF MD One is AH-MAZING compared to the Littman Classic II. I have used a Classic III (which is also better than the II) but I can truly say the MDF out performs all stethoscopes in the same class. Now I can hear everything more clearly even in an ambulance with sirens blaring. If you're and EMS provider looking for an affordable, reliable, good looking and quality made stethoscope, I would highly suggest going with an MDF over a Littman. You'll get way more bang for your buck! My classic II cost a little over a hundred bucks when I bought it years ago and you can buy em now for close to 90 bucks. The MDF will save you a good 30 to 50 bucks and outperform the Littman all day. I told my girlfriend to keep my old one...she thought it was special...little does she know... :D

Macht auf den ersten Blick einen sehr guten Eindruck. Ist schwer und man hat schon das Gefühl nicht irgendein billig Produkt in der Hand zuhaben. Habe es bis jetzt nur in stiller Umgebung getestet und bin zufrieden damit. Sehr gut finde ich auch die mit gelieferten Ersatzteile (nochmal 2 versch. Größen an Oliven und eine neue Auflage)

I'm very happy with this product as a third year nursing student, it's great for everything that I need it for, especially at this price. Highly recommended for people who wish to check their blood pressure or for any nursing student or qualified nurses.
