My favorite face cleanser. Takes off makeup, even mascara. Not drying. A slick soapy face wash. You don't need a lot of it either. I have very dry skin and I love this product. But even if you don't have dry skin, I think you'll be very happy with it.

The only facial wash I need. I’ve been using this for at least a decade or more.! It lasts a long time, it lathers very well and cleans all makeup, dirt and oil. It leaves the skin moisturized., is not heavily scented. The size of the product is excellent and a little goes a long way as this face wash is thick and lasts a really long time. I will not use any other face wash! My holy grail!!

I don't know where the one reviewer on here said that Coconut Water is the 6th ingredient . . . It is the SECOND ingredient, right after Neem water. This face wash, in a matter of THREE days, has managed to take my "oil slick" skin (trust me, I have to have some of the oiliest skin on the face of the planet!) and already start to normalize it. My skin has never felt this clean without "stripping" it - and stripping oily skin only makes the problem worse. It is NOT HARSH in the least cleans MAGNIFICENTLY and leaves your skin as smooth as the proverbial "baby's bottom". It is not heavy, contains NO harsh ingredients (please read my other Alaffia reviews regarding preservatives and the need for such in a LIQUID product!) and if "clean" is supposed to have a smell, this is it! I use this in league with the Everyday Coconut Toner and the Day or Night lotion, and I LOVE THEM ALL TO PIECES! When I say that NO PRODUCT EVER has made such a difference in my skin, especially with only THREE DAYS USE, I can honestly back that up - with THOUSANDS of dollars wasted since becoming an adult looking for something to try to NORMALIZE my skin. What is Best is that ALL SKIN TYPES can use this and get wonderful results! My Mom, who has Lizard-like dry skin, is also in love with this, as it is moisturizing without being harsh or oily. As always, this is MY REVIEW based upon MY USE, but I honestly think that you could NOT go wrong in at least trying Alaffia products, as you are NOT going to find more affordable, wonderful products anywhere!

I have been working my way thought some facial cleansers. I tend to not like drug store brands because of the many chemicals they contain because of mass production benefits of getting the product on so many shelves in so many stores, so I tried this cleanser. It's not bad. I do find it doesn't always take off my sunscreen with then first wash and I do have to let it stay on a bit longer, just sit on my face to get to really clean my skin. I am the person who likes it when I use my toner afterwards, there is no dirt residue on the cotton round, and I find with this cleanser, if I don't let it sit on my face for a few seconds, I will be seeing the residue on the cotton rounds. That being said, I don't make my face too dry and that is especially good for anyone with oily to combination skin. It doesn't have a heavy lather and you don't have to use a lot. It's good to give a try.

Mt skin's neither dry nor oily, but cream cleansers leave it feeling greasy while most foaming cleansers can leave it too dry. I'm also old enough to want to prevent wrinkles or anything that's too rough in it. Assuming a person uses a moisturizer of any kind after a face wash, this is the best facial cleanser I've ever found. It's great for a quick clean, and it removes makeup beautifully. It's not tested on animals, and I love the scent. It's a happy clean! This year I also got the Every Day Coconut Face Cream (I hadn't known they made it), and they're amazing together.

Tried and true - the best face wash out there. Gentle - I am allergic to sulfates - but gets the job done. Highly recommend.

This product is really good. I can tell my face feels cleaner and my skin feels tighter and less oily. I’m really happy I came across this.
