Well Worth What I Paid, FAST Assembly!!!
There were no written instructions included, just one sheet of paper with schematic-like drawings. Each drawing was numbered according to the respective "step." I truly believe I had the chair put together within 25 minutes of unpacking it, and that was taking my time. It may have even been 20 minutes. The pictorial "steps" really made sense. Frankly, having had to try following instructions for this or that, over the years, by someone translating them from Chinese into Spanish into English (or whatever the evolution might have been), I prefer well-detailed pictures with NO words... and the one sheet of step-by-step drawings was perfect in that regard. I opened the bag of parts (two hex wrenches, washers, bolts, and plastic "caps" for aesthetics [they go over the bolts that attach the arms]), laid everything out... and went to work. After I got everything assembled and finally sat down in my new chair, I can only tell you I just LOVE it! I'm 6'5" tall, slender not stocky, and I really like the high back, cushioned seat, cushioned back, and lumbar support.Yes, yes, yes... as has been pointed out by another reviewer, there's a "chemical" odor when you unpack everything. IT'S TEMPORARY. GET OVER IT. LIFE GOES ON, I ASSURE YOU. There's an overhead ceiling fan in my computer room; I assembled the chair, left the ceiling fan on while I ran some errands for a couple of hours and, if there's any odor now, I can't detect it.The chair is very comfortable, I'm sitting in it as I type this review, and I just wanted to pass along my assessment. I don't do "reviews" every day of the week... but this chair deserves one, and a good one at that. I did a lot of research before I bought it and I can honestly report I have no regrets. I feel it was money well spent (my body deserves the comfort), it impresses me as being well designed and, again, I just can't overemphasize how EASY it was to get it assembled. By the way, if there's no one else around who can help you, what worked very well for me when attaching the backrest to the seat was to use the shipping box as a "helper." I had the opened box sitting upright, and turned the backrest upside down and placed it back into the box... while having the box lean against a storage rack in my computer room. With the seat of the chair upside down in my lap, it was easy to line up the holes of the backrest's bracket with the holes in the bracket on the bottom of the seat. Using the box to "hold" the upside-down backrest worked out as a pretty good "helper;" I had no problem getting the bolts inserted and secured. I really liked that everything was included; I needed no wrenches or screwdrivers. All that is needed are the two hex wrenches that are included.Great chair, FAST assembly!

Great Chair, some Assembly Issues
I got this for my husband's gaming adventures, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great the chair was. I couldn't believe how soft the seat and arm rest material was! The white stitching on the black material was very attractive. The padded arm rests were also a big plus. When fully assembled, this is a fabulous chair. My one issue was during assembly. I got everything together and the last step is attaching the arms. All screws are a special hexagon insert, and the tool for putting them in comes with the chair. Unfortunately, the screws for the arms rest are not only significantly longer to serve the purpose, but the insert for the driver tool was also much larger- too large for the tool in fact! I had to raid my husband's leatherman (because we have no hexagonal screw drivers!) for something to even screw these buggers in. Luckily, I finally found something, but I wish the package came with the proper tools if it didn't intend to use standard flathead or Phillips head screws.Still, great product for the price! DH is happily gaming away as I type!

Firm but comfortable
First let me say I'm 5'5" tall and the back on this chair is not to tall. It rests at the top of my neck. Perfect for me. The padding is firmer than my previous chair. By no means uncomfortable as previous chair was a soft over stuff type material that collapsed after 2 weeks. It was easy to build 2 hex wrenches were provided. If you've built office type chairs before there should be no surprise. Build time 20-30 minutes. I could play online poker for 5 hours on this chair no problem. At just over $100 I would consider this chair a great value. Easily compares or exceeds chairs at my local office store costing $60-$100 more. Styling is nice and somewhat resembles a sport seat from a car. Quality on par with typical office type furniture and should last under most conditions. Arrived on time with no issues. Would recommend to anyone interested.

Bought in 2015
Bought this chair in 2015.... Today it finally died! Material started going bad after a year but still worked! Today the Lift thingy went out! 4 years for a cheap chair isn't bad I guess! Was comfortable! Squeaked most of it's life though! All in all...... for a cheap chair you can't complain? I guess if you get 4 years? Next chair I think will be real leather and better lift? Wheels and Wheel stand are still awesome! But don't expect it to look good for 4 years!Hope this helps someone?

Very comfortable
The chair itself is really comfortable. It isn't something that's super fancy but it still looks nice and does what a chair is supposed to do. The only issue that I have with this chair is how stiff it is in terms of leaning backwards. You kind of have to force it back and use a lot of effort to keep it leaning back. If you like sitting up perfectly straight all the time then that won't be an issue. I prefer a chair that leans back sometimes to get comfortable but it still does what it needs to do. It's not a recliner so I'm not really going to take away any stars for something as simple as that. Still a really comfortable chair.

Solid, comfortable, serviceable chair -- with a design flaw
Edit: I've now been using the chair for about three months. The issue I raised in my initial review (see below) about the repeated loosening of the arm-rest screws (two on each side) has not gone away. I'm forced to accept it as an unfortunate design flaw of the product. If you avoid putting any weight on the arm-rests when sitting down and getting up, it takes the screws longer to come loose, but after 10 to 14 days they will anyway. Disappointing.----------------I've been using this chair for just over a month now. I sit in it for several hours every day. So far, so good. After the intolerable and inaccessible squeaking that my last desk chair developed (it's what finally led me to throw it away and get this one), I enjoy the silence of the rocking mechanism. For some reason this chair looks bigger in the photographs than it actually is, but this shouldn't be a problem unless you're of well over average dimensions and weight. The only issue I've encountered so far is that the screws that hold the arm rests in place (two in each) seem to come loose and have to be retightened. This has happened twice so far. The first time was expected: all the screws in this type of chair have to be retightened a few weeks after initial assembly as it settles into its intended use. But I didn't expect to have to retighten the armrest screws a second time. We'll see how it goes from here. Anyway, be sure not to discard the two hex keys that come with the chair after you assemble it; you'll be needing them again.Assembly was quick and straightforward. I was sitting in the chair less than an hour after taking delivery. I like the high back. The slight inward curve at the top meets the back of my head comfortably when I lean back to ponder the imponderables, and the curve at the bottom pushes against my lower back just firmly enough to give comfortable support. (For reference, I'm almost exactly 6 feet tall.)
