I think everyone has had that one USB cable that lasted for what seemed like forever. I had one of these elusive cables once, and have been searching for another one ever since I donated it to a hotel in Denver during a business trip. When these cables arrived today, my search ended! They are the exact type of USB cable I lost long ago, I am so happy with them!All cables were individually packaged and nicely coiled. You can feel that these are not the normal, cheap cables that you usually get for this price. They feel about twice as thick as a normal, which makes them a little stiffer than the average cable, but it's well worth having the extra durability. The rubber around the connectors is thick and solid, should prevent breakage.I have tested all 10 cables for fast charging, normal charging, and PC data connection. All 10 passed with flying colors and all connections felt strong and secure. The cables were tested on a Galaxy S6 Edge, the fast charge time was right on par with the stock USB cable.The true test of these USB cables will be if they can withstand the abuse of a teenager. Luckily I have one in my house that has destroyed over 10 cables in the last two years, so I have begun testing. I will update this review if they don't hold up, but I have a feeling that she's not going to be able to kill these easily. My fingers are crossed!

The problem with writing a review is the length of time. You want to find one where the reviewer has had it for a length of time and it's still working. I just bought this one so I cannot say how long it will last. However, what I can say is it appears very well made. It fits nice and tight (not too tight) without wobbling (I've had so many that do and those are usually the first to go) and it works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.All I can say for certain is that this appears to be very well made. The engraving for the right side up is deep enough that in the dark you can find it easily and know which way to turn it. I think this will be a great investment and I expect it to work for a good long while. I'll try to remember to post back if any problems arise.

This USB cord is perfect for my needs!It's high quality, and very well made.I own a few Dropcam Pro's, and they use this type cord (Male USB to Micro/male USB), for both setup, and for powering the camera, after setup, using a USB/110 volt wall plug adapter.The only problem is the included cable that comes with the Dropcam Pro, it's about 6 feet long, and they give you no option to request a longer cable.Plus the included cable is White, and the Dropcam Pro is all solid Black, so again, this cable is perfect for me!I know there are a thousand uses for cables like this one.I just thought it might be helpful if someone else in my situation was looking for a long cable, but wasn't sure if it would work with there Dropcam Pro.I can tell you that it works perfectly with the Dropcam Pro.For any other use, if you need this length of cable, it really is a very good cable, and very affordable as well.I'd highly recommend it.

This is a great micro usb cable. It's very long. It works very well with most micro usb products that I have like cell phone, Bluetooth device, etc.. I purchased it because the cable for my PS4 Dual shock wireless controller usb charging cable broke. This fits but it's not a snug fit for the controller. To get the controller to charge, I have to wiggle the cable. Of course, it may be an issue with the controller so I purchased another one of those too. I will be able to test this cable with the new controller. It's still great to have such a long micro usb cable - especially when charging a cell phone.

**UPDATE**I had to buy a 2nd set because I couldn't live any longer with the tiny wimpy cords HTC provided with the new phones my wife and I got._____________________Wow what a ridiculously long cable - I love it! The micro end is a bit loose in most devices I've tested, but I'm surprised by the amount of shielding surrounding the cable. Last cable I had like this was 6' long and about as thick as a city-boy's nose hairs which isn't to good when you have two wily cats that like to chew.I use this cord on my tablet while I cook and can safely route the cable behind my coffee pot/grinder, toaster, etc. while using the tablet as a cookbook so no more constant flipping the screen on/off and getting flour all over the screen.

These seem to be fairly solid connectors, and the speed seems adequate; also, the 3 foot length seems ideal, not too long yet allows placement of the drive for minimal shear, and thus less chance of accidental disconnection during long backups. However, the Micro (B) connector is too short, and makes a less than solid connection with my WD My Passport 1 Tb USB 2.0 hard drive. I use the drive mostly for Time Machine backups, which can be very long, and the tiny USB 2.0 Micro connection is at best problematic, so it doesn't help to have a small male connector. This works OK, but the BlueRigger cable's Micro (B) connector  BlueRigger USB 2.0 (A) to Micro (B) USB Cable for Smartphones, Tablets and other devices (6 Feet)  makes a much, much firmer connection with the hard drive.

I purchased this cable to use on a Playstation controller. I don't like the necessity to recharge the controller battery, as opposed to using regular disposables batteries like the Xbox controller. Seemed like every time I wanted to use it, I had to charge it, and the puny cable that came with the console was very short.With this cable, I can play any time I want, without worrying about the battery charge.Bad idea, Sony, but this is a nice solution.

When I lost my first 15ft cable in the plane charging my phones became a nightmare. I travel a lot and these cables comes in handy when I am in a hotel room where the plugs are far from the bed and I need to have my fones by me as I work. So I ordered two more cables. They came in time and I am using them very well for not only my fones, but for my PS4 controllers and everything else. Go for it. You will not be disappointed. The only downside is because its very long you will have to keep rolling it up and keep it snappy. Well you can't have everything right? ;)

The wire is extra long however the connector broke off I've only had it 6 weeks
