I really like this gum as a healthier option... it's sugar-free, aspartame-free, and sweetened with xylitol, which is known to help support dental health. The peppermint flavor is fresh and long-lasting without being overpowering, and the texture holds up well without getting too hard or crumbly. It's also a big plus that it's vegan and gluten-free. The 100-count container is super convenient to keep in the car or at my desk. Just be mindful to keep it away from pets, since xylitol is toxic to them!

Great taste without sugar

Xylitol, an all-natural product sometimes known as wood sugar is the key ingredient in this gum and also in the mouth care system recommended in the new book Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye: A Do-It-Yourself Mouth Care System for Healthy, Clean Gums and Teeth by Ellie Phillips DDS. Xylitol, she tells us, "could be the ultimate magic bullet for tooth decay, working with nature to change the chemistry and biology of a dentally dangerous mouth to bring it back to health in less than a year." She recommends "ending every meal, snack or drink with about one gram of xylitol: either coated on chewing gum, as a breath mint or eaten directly off a spoon." Never having been much of a gum chewer, I opted for the mints, but now to my surprise, I'm finding I prefer the gum. For me, at least, it's a better buy because I chew one piece of it for at least several minutes after meals and snacks, which leaves my mouth feeling really clean. With the mints--which are delicious, by the way--I tend to end up eating three or four over the same time span, which is why a jar of the gum will last me a lot longer than a jar of the mints for about the same price. This gum comes in other flavors and one of these days I'll probably try them. But for now, I'm really partial to the peppermint. This gum has a per-piece calorie count of 1.7 and is gluten-free. One jar contains 100 pieces. I also recommend Dr. Phillips's book. She has a web site you may want to look into as well, but personally, thanks to some excellent editors, I find the book easier to understand.

This gum is pleasant for cleansing oral cavity while traveling. The flavor could stay longer.

I love this type of sugar-free gum as I have had amazing results using xylitol for my teeth and would only consider using a gum with that main ingredient. However, I still need a gum to perform like gum at least long enough to justify the cost. The flavor only lasts about 10 minutes. Not great. I don’t really enjoy overly sweet things, and this one is just right in that sense, but I still want it to taste like something for at least half-an hour. This loses all flavor very quickly. And it becomes overly soft too at some point. Less chewable. If you like a softer gum, then you will like this. What I’m confused about is that I know I’ve used this one before and don’t remember having the lost flavor problem with it. Like it’s not going to last all day, I know. But it should definitely last longer than a few minutes. Did they change the formula? I would still buy it because I don’t dislike it, and the ingredients are clean. It still serves a purpose. But I recently tried a different kind on here and found it to be vastly superior to this one. I’ll probably go back to that one. If this one is still cheaper though I will definitely waffle. On a plus note, the packaging is ideal. The little container is portable and totally reusable. I’ll probably use it for a diy cream jar. Very easy to carry around.

As a gum-addict, I had chewed the store brand gum for my whole life, going from Trident to Extra to whatever I could find on sale and indulging in the ever-loved bubble gum balls. I had heard about Xylitol but I didn't pay much attention until I had a root canal and decided to take another look at oral care. I switched to an all natural toothpaste and decided to go with Xylitol gum and cut down on my sugar intake. I expected the gum to taste terrible since it was a healthier alternative, but this gum is awesome! It holds the flavor longer than I expected, and is just the right size to chew with just one piece instead of needing two. It's safer for my teeth so I feel better about it. I have tried both the peppermint and spearmint version and like them both, but peppermint always seems to me to be more of a breath freshener than spearmint, so I usually go with this one. It is in health food stores but is far more expensive that way. I always buy it on Amazon because the price is so much better. I haven't paid attention to whether it's the same seller or varied sellers, the product is the same and I always like it. It's truly all I have chewed for over 16 months now. My dental hygienist asked me what I was doing differently as she hardly had any work to do for my 6 month cleaning; I told her I'm using natural toothpaste and chewing this Xylitol gum. I'm not brushing more frequently and only cut back on sugar in my diet. So, I figure, the little extra I spend on this gum, if I do, is far less than the amount I am saving in dental work!

I love this gum. I have tried many varieties, and this comes out on top. Flavor last longer than others and you get more for your money.

This is a nice product that I try to use when I cannot get to a toothbrush. It tastes good, chews nicely, and you;re helping your teeth.

後味は長くは続かないのですが、さっぱりしていて美味しいですよ〜💓とても気に入っています。

I really like the natural taste, it does stick a bit on my older fillings, there's no glycerin in it so I expected it to be less smooth. I only chew max 10min as in the dental program it is said to chew 2-10 min max to allow saliva to produce from the xylitol. So, for the 10 min or so I chew these the flavor is full on for the entire time. I haven't tried it for longer. I am going to buy the 1200 count mints as well in peppermint as it's a little more convenient during working hours, I don't chew gum with clients around! All in all it's a very good quality product and much cheaper than the Dr Ellies brand, I think it's equal in quality.
