My son loves this clock. It's easy for him to work with, it looks fun, and he hasn't ever slept through the alarm. It's Lego-pricey for what it is, but if your kid (or you) is a Lego nut, then why not celebrate it?

I was happy to find a very simple and cute first alarm clock for my 6-year old son. However, it is LOUD!! It's like a fire alarm going off, and much like a fire alarm my son is barely aware of it while I, in the next room over, has levitated out of bed and flown into his room within one shrieking beep . We're not giving up yet - hoping that my son will get quicker at figuring out how to turn it off. But adjustable volume would be so appreciated.

With so many colors to choose from, this Lego clock will match any room design. We bought each child a different color clock. The clock stays unlit to provide better quality sleep, but you can easily touch it to turn the light temporarily on. The light color matches the clock (red clock has red light, blue clock has blue light, etc). It measures about 7 1/2” long by 3 1/2” wide and is about 2 1/2” tall. The alarm is a bit jolting but my children do not use the alarm part. Snooze seems to be 4 minutes.

As a clock it works perfectly. Battery operation was why I chose this because it is unaffected by power outages. Display is nice as it always shows time and alarm setting. I prefer this to my own Timex "adult" alarm clock because you do not have to switch to the alarm setting mode to see the current alarm time setting. Seeing everything at a glance is great. The alarm beep itself is loud and progressively increases from "beep-beep...pause...beep-beep" to a constant "beep-beep-beep..." if you don't turn it off after about 20 seconds. It does, however, stop beeping after one minute if you do not turn it off. I suppose this is good for neighbors if you accidentally set and leave the alarm when not home. But my kid has actually slept through the entire one minute alarm cycle. It is a bit larger than necessary for its function. But I realize this is actually a "10X" item that could connect with other similarly scaled pieces. We do not have any other "10X" size Lego items and do not plan to get any so this is really irrelevant unless you have or plan to get some other giant brick items to connect it to.

Time was ridiculously easy to set. Didn't need instructions at all, very self explanatory. Don't know why everyone is complaining about it. Keeps time, but backlight doesn't stay lit. A bonus in my 24yr old opinion. More a novelty than anything else.

The alarm stopped working. The clock still works, but I am disappointed. It didn't last long. I've tried changing the batteries to see if it would help. It did not...

I bought this for my son because it was cute and not boring like a regular alarm clock. I only wanted something to basically wake him up in the morning. While it is cute and the display easy to read, for some strange reason, the time resets itself every now and without warning. Its reset its time about 5 times now, and each time i have to fix the time, which is a pain. Not to mention, it doesn't do its job if the time on it isn't correct. Therefore, i cannot recommend this lock to others. Its a shame, we have a Lego yoda clock that has been working great for a couple years without fail.

Cool alarm, no power cord. I realize that its kid safe, but most 7 year olds don't shove things into outlets.

super Produkt! Sieht auch echt cool aus (ist natürlich super plaste zeug) Für Kinder sehr leicht zu bedienen weil alle Knöpfe klar gekennzeichnet wurden und groß sind (auch das display). Allerdings muss es auf einen harten untergrund stehen um die Beleuchtung funktionieren zu lassen. Die Druckpunkte befinden sich dafür auf der unterseite (links & rechts). Da es im LEGO-Geschäft nicht mehr erhältlich ist, kann mann sich wieder mal freuen das es Internet gibt. Vielen Dank

This item is very easy to operate for a child. my grandson loves it. The alarm is operated on and off by the right hand button on the front row. The three buttons to the left of that light up the face so it is easy to see in the dark.

Un bel regalo per un ragazzo/bimbo appassionato di Lego e che deve usare la sveglia (ahimè chi è che non la deve usare!!) Arrivato in tempi rapidissimi come previsto nell'ordine e tutto sommato si presenta abbastanza bene come orologio. Simpaticissimo da vedersi in cameretta e facile da programmare. Un bambino lo fa tranquillamente. Il suono è come i primi orologi al quarzo... una sola suonertia ma è quella che serve. Forse piccolo neo i numeri hanno proco contrasto e non si vedono molto bene. Probabilmente sarà anche per le batterie che chissà da quanto tempo sono state installate e dovranno forse essere sostituite. Nel complesso però bell'orologio.

Was a gift for my grandson, it is very cute and perfect size. ..would be better if it could be plugged in also
