Sakkas Butterfly Tie Dye Tank Sheath Caftan Mid Length Dress

I love this Sakkas Butterfly Caftan! It fits where it is supposed to and drapes over those other areas that don't need to be fitted. The bright blue adds a wonderful pop of color to anyones wardrobe! It is well made and very comfortable. I did wash it before wearing to get any extra dye out, I put it in a large "fine washables" bag and set the machine for hand wash. I hung it to dry and it was ready to wear in a couple hours. I didn't notice any fading or shrinking. I think the thing I like best about this dress is It is loose and flowing, without all the extra fabric you usually find in a "one size" caftan. As light as this cotton is, extra material will add unwanted weight to a dress.I am slightly over 5'4" and the dress came just below my knees as seen in the stock photo. I wear a medium to large in clothing with a size and these dresses fit me very well. My daughter insists this won't need a slip and I don't plan on wearing one around the house but I did purchase one to use when I go out.I purchased two of these dresses for Spring and I'm sure I will be adding more as soon as it warms up here. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this dress to anyone who wants to beat the heat and look fabulous while doing so!

I bought this dress with the intention of using it as something to lounge around the house in. It is pretty, it fits generously as I expected, and the colors are very nice. It is fairly sheer, so if you intend on wearing it in public, you will need a slip.When I took it out of the package to try it on, I noticed a very strong chemical smell. I hand washed it in cold water, using some Woolite. It really turned the water purple, so be sure to hand wash this separately from anything else. I rinsed it, and hung it outside on the line to dry. When I checked it on the line, I noticed that the chemical smell was still there (a day later). I brought it in and rewashed it once again, hand washing in cold water, and hanging it outside on the line to dry. I am hoping when I check on it tomorrow, the smell will be gone. Also, with the second washing, the water still turned purple. I will be posting a picture for you to see. Because I plan on wearing this around the house, and the weather is really going to get warm, I hope if I sweat, I won't leave a purple trail where ever I sit!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PRINT AND THE STYLE OF THE DRESS. HOWEVER, I MIGHT HAVE TO RETURN THE ITEM BECAUSE THE SMELL OF THE FABRIC IS OVERWEHLMINGLY BAD. I WILL WASH IT BY HAND AND SEE IF THAT TAKES THE SMELL AWAY. THE ODOR WOULD DEFINITELY CLEAR A ROOM. IT SMELL LIKE A HOSPITAL ROOM-BLEACH AND OTHER CLEANING FLUIDS. MIGHT GIVE ME A HEADACHE. OTHERWISE, IF IT DIDN'T SMELL, I WAS GOING TO BUY MORE OF THIS BRAND. THE FABRIC PRINT IS GORGEOUS.

I love the 'as expected' sizing. I have a hard time finding clothes to fit me. I am 5.11 and about 145lbs, so I'm tall and thin. I have never ordered a one size fits all online before, but I could almost tell that it would be no problem. If anything, I thought it might be big in the shoulders, but once I got it and tried it on, it's just perfect. I loved it immediately. I got purple because that is my favorite color and I have always loved anything with butterflies on it, so this just suits me perfectly. I'm thrilled with it. It should get warm here in NC in about another 1.5 months and I can't wait to wear it!! My husband took a pix of me wearing it and I posted it on Facebook. Someone commented that I looked like a princess :) One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. Sakkas is very timely and I have since ordered 4 more dresses from them. I'm expecting to love them 'almost' as much as I love this one...as nothing can top purple butterflies :) :)

I am 5'7" 180 lb measurements 44 40 45. I ordered the green dress. I wanted a dress that was baggy, but not too baggy. It is exactly what I hoped. It fits perfect in width; the length comes just below my knees which makes it very dressy. It hangs beautifully. This dress is semi-sheer and light as a feather which is perfect for hot weather. It needs to be worn with a slip. I intend to use it for hot summer days. It could fit someone larger than me. On me it has extra room and yet it's not too big. It is advertised as one size fits all, but I would guess it fits a range of 16-22 plus. The armholes were plenty big and yet not too big, I have big arms. I didn't notice any unpleasant odor.

I now own four of these dresses/cover ups and I simply love them! They are perfect for this hot weather - I can wear them to run to the grocery store if necessary, and I "live" in them from the minute I walk in from work. I wash them on a gentle cycle and then just hang up to dry. No need to press or anything. The colors stay vibrant and once they have been washed a couple of times, they don't bleed or fade when washed. The price is extremely reasonable and the quality has been consistent. I bought the latest one (the lavender Butterfly one) as a birthday gift, and will be purchasing more of them for myself as well as for gifts. This is a five star garment.

I absolutely LOVED this dress. The fit was perfect, like it was made to fit me. I loved the color. Will definitely be ordering more when you have more colors in stock. This dress is perfect for the warm summer's and if it gets cool at night I just throw on my white sweater, which has very loose stitching, and the look is great. Many many comments received from my neighbor's who I've told where they can get theirs. Who would I recommend this item to, anyone who likes to where dresses. Thanks again and please get more colors in soon. By the way I'm in the middle of making another order as we speak. I'll be trying a couple of other styles out cause you never know what you may be in the mood for.

The dress is cute but needs shorts or leggings under it as it is slightly see through. It is great for hot days/ The colour is a bit darker than it is shown.

A pretty top that is not quite as long as in the picture. It’s very flared. On me it comes down to lower thigh and hide a multitude 😊. I have several of these tops as I love the colours and patterns. It is lightweight and cool suitable for a hot summers day. The material is rather sheer so I usually wear another top under it. The material is not the best quality but going by the others I have bought from this seller they wash and wear well.They must be handwahed seperately in cold water as the dye does comes out and could stain other clothes etc , for me this is no chore as they are so lightweight, after washing I squeeze some of the water out and place it in the washing machine to spin dry then hang it up to finish drying , don’t put it in the dryer imo it could ruin it , providing you don’t leave it in the machine , it shouldn’t need ironing as I find any creases do drop out.When you first open the packet their is a chemical smell, so it’s best to wash it as above before wearing

Lovely, cool summer dress. I am 5 foot and the dress comes to about the middle of my calf which is perfect for me. The material is thin so I wear a tank top or a strapless tube top and a cotton slip underneath and it looks great. The shadeof green looks fantastic with a tan. The design and the embroidery are very pretty. Take care to wash it on its own the first time as the dye really runs! I handwashed it the first time but will probably put it in a wash bag and wash it on the hand wash cold cycle of the machine next time. It does not appear to shrink at all, which is a good thing, but the material doesn't feel like 100% cotton as it says on the label. Still, it is such a nice dress I am thinking of buying the other colours for my sisters.
