Heelys Juke Skate Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I was skeptical about buying these for my 8-year-old daughter, but I had to give in when she saved up her own money to buy them. I guess if you think about it as a pair of shoes *and* a toy together, it's not so bad a price. It took her one evening with a bit of frustration to get used to them. She got frustrated and took them off at one point, but put them back on after dinner and quickly got the hang of it. Now she absolutely loves them. She zooms around the house with a huge smile on her face. That smile is definitely worth the money!

My son loves Heelys, his last 3 pairs of shoes HAD to be heelys, and honestly I don't mind buying them even if they cost a little more than other shoes I could get,because they are very durable and last a lot longer! They actually last until he grows out of them, as opposed to all other "tennies" I've bought him that wore out in just a few months.Best thing about Heelys from a mother's perspective: DURABILITY!The size seemed about consistent with Reebok because he tried a pair of 7-1/2 reebok's (happened to have at home) that were just a tad snug on him, so I ordered him an 8 in these and they fit perfectly.

I bought number 6, and the size is same as no 5 shoes from skechers. Unfortunately No 7 is not available from this seller, otherwise I would have replaced it for a number 7. My suggestion would be to add 1 to the size you are looking for. Free return is so cool, if the size does not match. And this is a great pair of Heelys.

Like other reviews, buy one size larger, as these do run a bit small. Early on, swapping the wheels for the plugs is a bit hard, but after a while, even our son can do it by himself. Wears a bit quick, but for a 9 year old, it's not going to last forever!

My daughter has had a great time with these. She has worn them to death ever since receiving them. The quality seems good. The size was a little on the small size and the shoe laces were not long enough. Other wise we like the style and the quality.

I read the reviews that recommended getting a size larger than my daughter's size, but that was not even enough. Amazon has been great about following up on this item since the shoe sizing is clearly an issue, which is why I gave 4 stars even though I am returning them.

My daughter LOVES these shoes...and wears them all the time...I only gave it 4 stars because after about 5 hours, she complains that her heels hurt, i can only presume this is due to walking on a wheel.

Great buy! Was worried about size after reading reviews, but checked the size chart and measured my son's feet 11.5 inches so I bought a 12 - perfect - quality is great! He loves it and can't get enough of it - hurts his legs a lot though - I guess with enough practice the pain would subside. Would buy a second after he grows out of it!

My son wanted this Heeleys to have a smooth swish ride when we are in shops and parks. He now learned how to use it and having fun. Wouldn't work on rough surfaces like roads and patio, even on tiled surface it stuck where the grouting is.

Very good service. I bought for my son's 10th birthday. He loves it and wore it every moment except school time. Take a bit practice to master the move. Highly recommended.

Grandchild did not really take to these.
