UPDATE: got a call from Blue Nook directly and they're sending a replacement charging brick. the batteries work very well, got over 45 minutes of continuous video recording on my gopro hero3 WITH the lcd bacpac on for the entire time with a single battery! when i get the replacement brick and it works as advertised, i'll bump to 5 stars.UPDATE2: Blue Nook shipped (overnight!!) a new charging brick and it works perfectly. lights up green when connected to power but no batteries in the brick. when you put in a battery that needs charging the light for that slot turns red then turns green when charged. it senses if a battery is already fully charged when dropped into the charger so it does not over charge the battery.without a doubt, the absolute best customer service i have ever contacted. i give their customer service (specifically Terry) 10 stars!!found that to contact blue nook directly you need to click on the "ships from and sold by blue nook" link on the product page, then click on "detailed seller information" and go down to returns and refunds. you can't get there through the receipt (or at least it's not obvious). anyway, they found me via the review and i'm getting a replacement!! i give their customer service 7 stars (at least).recieved the unit in "questionable" packaging. plugged in the charger and dropped in the batteries and nothing lit up on the brick. waited a few minutes and the charging brick got really hot, but still no lights. disappointed, but left the batteries in the charger for about 4 hours. figured they should at least have some charge. put them in my gopro hero3 camera and the camera would not power on. put the original gopro battery back in the camera, and the camera started right up. put one of wasabi batteries in the camera and connected the camera to my computer. the camera indicated it was charging the battery. so i let it go for a while and then disconnected the camera from the USB and the battery did charge. back to the charging brick, changed the usb cable and connected the brick to my computer, dropped in the batteries, still no lights but the brick got hot (used the same usb cable as the one i used for the camera). left the batteries in the brick for over an hour, put the battery that i did not charge with the camera into the camera and it was completely dead. bottom line, the charging brick is DOA.schleprock

I recently added this to my collection after about a year with their single charger. The batteries held up quite well, as did the charger, but I've been trying to keep a rotation of batteries more or less continuously charged/running, so this has been a great upgrade. A few things I like about this:• the cord is separate, so the whole charger isn't stuck taking up space in the outlet• it can charge from USB• it charges 2 batteries at once, so it can better keep up with a camera chewing through batteries...I'm no longer racing to get a battery charged before the one in the camera runs out• the mating of the battery to the charger seems a bit more solid, since the end of the battery fits into a slot, rather than sitting lengthwise into a tray...this seems to hold onto the battery better when it's bouncing around in my trailerMy only complaint is on the indicator lights. They seem to light up green when there's a partial connection to the battery. I have a battery with damaged contacts, and it's difficult to tell if it's been completely charged or it isn't charging at all.Otherwise, everything about this product is awesome and very reasonably priced.

Great value batteries, decent finish, well fit. life does not match the original gopro one as many other reviewers mentioned. Charging base seems works as it should be (not experienced charging difficulty like some others), just need to be gentle and ensure batteries sit in the slot property and everything works great. Rated 4 stars for the performance/cost.Update: May-12-2014Rated this product again - 5 stars, for one main reason. Customer service from Blue Nook are just incredible. They really do concern about the product they carry and tried to solve any possible issues (if there are any). I have been contacted directly by Blue Nook 1-2 days after my last posed review. I mentioned the shorter battery life in compares with the gopro OEM (hero3+) in my review, and Blue Nook agree to ship 2 additional batteries for me for free just to test out. I carried number of tests on both go pro hero3+ silver & black, under different setting - 1080p 60 / 1440 / 4k. In short, the new Wasabi batteries I received shows improvement on the life but still not matching the OEM, but it was a close call - e.g. 2-3 mins difference.I also experienced the overheat issues while performing the test (this happened to both Wasabi / OEM), really shouldn't drive that tiny gopro too far - but that's a different story.In conclusion, I am very happy with the product, it works great, feel great, well fitted, Great customer service & Well priced

Powered up my Hero3+ no problems. Had been sitting awhile the original battery died. This is a reasonable replacement to bring life back.

Using this on my motorcycle as a dashcam with my old GoPro 3. Charged quickly, fit the camera perfectly, and operated the camera (without the monitor) easily for a 45-minute ride. When I returned, battery still had at least another 15 minutes' worth of charge. Nice quality, and at ~US$20, a really good price.

Works perfectly and at a great price, but one of the batteries must have vented while in transit. There was some residue on it and it has expanded a small amount compared to the other battery. So the only downside seems to be that one battery is unusable. Otherwise, good charger, nice and compact. Battery life doesn't seem to better nor worse than the oem go pro battery.
