I recently purchased this Aden & Anais swaddle blanket set as a baby shower gift, and as always, it did not disappoint. I’ve been buying these blankets for years — both for myself and as gifts — and the quality is consistently amazing. They’re soft, breathable, and hold up beautifully wash after wash. Every parent I’ve gifted them to absolutely loves them. A timeless, practical, and thoughtful gift that never goes out of style!

The best lightweight material in subtle colors. I keep paying attention to other swaddles I see, and these are still my favorite. They roll up into a very small size which makes them ideal to have a few in the diaper bag. They can double as a burp cloth, something to change your baby on if the diaper changing station is gross, extra layers at night, or even put around their backside when they have soaked their diaper and you can’t change it right away! My very favorite is the animals. I appreciate that they don’t look like cartoons!

I love the large size of these swaddles. They are super soft and the cute patterns are a perfect addition to any nursery. They work great to help swaddle your little one to help them sleep through the night.

I'm one who doesn't always care about brand names, but in this case, I stick with aden + anais. The blankets are durable, lightweight, and so much larger than the Target brands or other cheaper knock offs. It's worth it for something you're going to use for a long time. My daughter has autism and still carries her blankets around occasionally. They were awesome for swaddling, wash up well and have been WELLLLLLL loved. Some have gotten holes but my daughter is now 9 so I would say that we got our money's worth out of the blankets we've had.

Fabulous sized swaddles, and just the right thickness for my April baby. The new mom was so in love with these that she would do laundry when they all got dirty rather than using the other flannel swaddles we were given (they just couldn't get a secure swaddle!). After about a week, we had to order a second set. I was able to achieve a very secure swaddle without limiting her pelvic mobility by squaring her up to an edge (rather than going diagonally), swaddling arms as normal, and then bringing the bottom edge up and tying it around her. Due to the size and weight of the swaddle, I was able to square knot it with room for her to kick until about 10 lbs/8 weeks. We have used them for other purposes such as a nursing cover and mat when we put her down in public areas. The white ones make for great backdrops for photography due to their large size and slight texture. However, their usefulness steeply decreased after we stopped swaddling, and I only have one out of storage at 5 months old. No regrets, though! Note: The yellow giraffes are cute, but are almost exactly the same color as breast fed baby poop, making it difficult to distinguish design from blowout at a glance. It made me anxious every time I used it. The bees are the same color, but the black boarder around them made is easy to distinguish what was clean and what was dirty.

I bought these as a gift but have also received aden+anais swaddle blankets as gifts myself. At first I didn't understand what the fuss was about b/c I really didn't use them to swaddle my baby and he was born in January so it was super cold out and these were too thin to use as a blanket. As a swaddle, I don't love them - they tend to be too stretchy and even though my husband was a far better swaddler then me, our son would break out of these really easily. But as an all purpose light blanket, they are great. They really are multi-purpose - used to cover my baby on a slightly chilly day, put down on the carpet so he can play, used to shield him from the sun when I am holding him and its really bright out. And of course they are super cute! I think its a great gift and having one set of four is probably worth the purchase. I haven't tried competitors brands that are probably cheaper, so they may do the job just as well!

I absolutely love these swaddles! They’re generously large and made of soft cotton, which makes them so versatile. I first used them with my daughter 6 years ago, and we still use them today – that’s how durable they are. What I love most is that with every wash they get even softer, without losing quality. The size is perfect for swaddling, but we’ve also used them as stroller covers, lightweight blankets, nursing covers, and even as comfort blankets as my kids got older. They’ve held up amazingly well after countless washes and years of use. Truly one of the best baby essentials I’ve ever bought. Highly recommend to any parent looking for something long-lasting, practical, and super soft.
