Love these overalls
Love these overalls! Love the tool apron! Love the knees (with add-on knee pads inserted)! Have several pairs of the apparently discontinued R29 version (white cotton, more like a painter's bib fabric). Was distraught when I couldn't get them any more, so tried these. The first few hours, the carhartt duck fabric was a bit stiff, but they have softened up enough to be quite comfortable... and I think they will last a lot longer than the other fabric.

Purchased many times
Like the durable suspenders . Others i have bought have the elastic real strechy suspeners that do not hold up as well in the washer and becomes loose during the day.

What a Great idea!
A perfect solution to having to NOT wear a tool belt. I ordered larger 46x32 size so my husband (6'2"/220lb with a bit of a belly) would be able to wear it over other clothes in the winter. I usually buy the 44x34 size & that is comfortably loose. (He has 5 types of Carhartt overalls) Since I do put the overalls/bibs in the dryer that will account for any shrinkage. A tip for the dryer, I used to pin the clasps to the body of the overalls so they wouldn't bang up my dryer, but recently I tried stuffing the straps with the metal clasps into the top pocket, unsnap & then snap it back & it stays in the snapped pocket while in the dryer. Great carhartt quality as always.

Very Good - Except for the Suspender Buckles
Great coveralls - very heavy duty. Many previous reviews suggested getting 2 sizes larger than you would for pants. I wear a 38in waist and ordered the 42in. waits Carhartts and they fit well over top on my work pants. So, that suggest was well worth heading. The only thing I do not like about these coveralls is the suspender hook mechanism (so gave this review 4 stars). It requires way too much "fumbling" with it to attach suspenders to top of bibs. And the slip adjustment for suspender length requires a screwdriver to get enough play in the slider to be able to move the stretchy web fabric - it's very tight. But these are fairly minor criticisms. I like the overalls and all the pockets will come in handy. That are fairly easy to pull on and off. I'd buy them again.

Great Quality
Love them. I've had a few pair over the years, they're durable, comfortable & last long. Jus like any coveralls u have to buy them a size or 2 bigger, but fit better that way.

should have gotten one size larger
Plumbing contractor for million years. i have always worn carhartt overalls. there is NO equal. period.great overalls, and matched with the soft knee pad insert is the way to go.as i dont buy these til they are worn, i never can tell what size they are. this time i went off the guide, and they are a little snug . legs are fine but i guess the mid section is slightly tighter than i would have liked. next pair, gotta remember to go up a size. lol

Rugged and Useful
These are a perfect fit. My husband trains dogs and is constantly being jumped on, scratched, bitten, etc. by 75-120 lb dogs. These have withstood massive abuse with absolutely zero holes or tears. I wash them regularly in the washing machine then hang to dry.

Pick your size based on belly
This is probably my own fault, but I picked a size based on what size pants I wear. I should have been thinking what size belly I have. I don't buy to many pairs of overalls in fact this is the only pair of overalls I have and you have to think in terms of your whole body size not just your waist. Aside from the snug fit in the mid region they are great quality overalls. There is no shortage of pockets and places to stick nails and screws. Comfortable and still keep you warm if you live in California.
