Roomy for the toes, not much arch support
Compared to my New Balance and Merrel shoes, these have a lot more room from the ball of the foot forward. I really appreciate that as in the New Balance I typically have to buy in a "wide" size. The flexibility of the sole is so much nicer than the Vibram sole that was on my Merrel's which these will replace for the summer, and my feet really appreciate it. I wouldn't say these are the lightest weight shoe, but they are fairly light weight and breath well. My only real problem with them is the poor insole. The sole of the shoe is fairly flat with little arch, and same goes for the insole. I needed a bit more support for my arch, so I had to buy an aftermarket insole to go in these. Once I put that in there, these fit well, and I've been very pleased with them.

They definitely weren't as good as his previous pair of Keens
Bought these as a gift for my husband thinking they'd last him a while. One shoe broke within a years time. They definitely weren't as good as his previous pair of Keens.

A shoe ruined by poor rep. and user error
This is probably the single best "tennies" I have ever owned. My wife and I are fairly active, so it happens often that without warning we will end up in situations that we are doing something "outdoorsy" in, whether it be walking for 2 hours around our city, spending all day at gravel fleamarkets, or some other thing that involves hours of walking. We both own hiking shoes, and I own shoes for bicycling, but both of us noticing we were wearing out our "nike" and etc. casual shoes way too fast in the last few years. Enter these shoes, both my wife and I have been completely satisfied in these shoes. In defense of them, I want to clear some things up about them. No, they are not good for hiking. No, they are not good for heavy outdoors camping type use.No, I don't imagine the non-waterproof ones react all that well to being constantly wet. What they are is an amazing "city walker" tennies shoe, and also worked great for city biking. It's a shame this shoe wasn't promoted right. So many people trying to hike in these (buy a hiking shoe!), and now they've discontinued them likely due to bad reviews. It's a year later for me now of not going one week without wearing them, and there is no holes, no worn bottom, no rips or tears or wearing around ball of foot. I can't say that about a single other shoe I have used for this use (city walking/etc). They aren't super supportive, but that's one of the things I have liked about them, because they have actually consistently stayed that way, just the right amount of support for misc city outdoor stuff. Such a shame they are gone, hoping they replace them with something similar.

Hard to believe they're Keens
I have had great experiences with Keen's sandals, so I was really disappointed in these shoes. Keens water shoes actually have more arch support than these shoes. At best these feel more like a pairs of slightly padded Chuck Taylor's Cons or perhaps some Topsiders. I could have kept them just for putzing around in, but the collar around the Achilles tendon is so loose that I was at risk of blistering there even with sock protection.

They are very comfortable and light
They are very comfortable and light. However, I don't recommend them for long hiking or backpacking. Not enough support for the bottoms of your feet and ankles. I guess that's expected with a low top hiking shoe.

I do not like the Keen Marshalls
I do not like the Keen Marshalls. They are ilfitting and have a weak foot bed.I believe Keen should pull the shoe and beef the foot bed up a bit.

Keen shoes are fantastic
I purchased these shoes several months back, and wanted to have amount of time with them before I wrote a review. I have had several pair of Merrell shoes in the past with VERY poor results. The Merrell shoes I have had, always ripped out on the inside of the shoe, while the outside still looked perfectly fine. This happened with both pair of Merrells I purchased, and within only a couple months of daily use. Based on my experience with this type of shoe I didn't expect too much. I have been plesantly surprised at the quality of these shoes and how they are holding up to daily wear. These Keens have not shown any signs of wear or damage.

Great Shoes for Square Feet
I have a wide forefoot with a relatively narrow mid-foot. I used to be unhappy with all my shoes until I discovered Keens. They always squeezed my forefoot, unless they were big enough to float off my feet. Now I have Keen sandals, Keen running shoes, even Keen hiking boots. If you have a wide forefoot, these are amazing. They are not the lightest running shoes around by far, but I have used the to pick up age-group medals in a few races so I'm not complaining. They're very durable too. My only complaint is they have no arch support, but that is easily corrected with inserts.
