Awesome shoes!
This is my second pair of Go Walk 2's. I love that they are so lightweight. It "almost" feels like you aren't wearing any shoes at all. On our last trip to Disney, I had brought along my usual non skechers shoes and spent all day and night enjoying the park. We had arrived at park opening and since it was just a girls only trip (our hubby's kept all the kids for us!!!) we stayed for the extended magic hours that night. By the evening I felt literally that my feet were going to fall off (ever felt that way?). I hobbled back to our room that night as each step was excruciating. I hoped that by morning my feet would feel better. The next morning I woke up and tried to walk on my feet and they hurt as bad as they had the night before. (Please don't tour Disney like we did that day!!!) My friend had just purchased two pairs of these shoes, one was this pair in black and white, and the other was the slip on version. She left me wear the lace ups (like these) and immediately upon putting my foot in the shoe, the pain was much less severe. We headed over to Epcot and I walked from opening to closing in these shoes and not ONCE did my feet hurt. Even when I got back to the room that night, my feet didn't hurt at all. She let me wear them for the rest of our trip and as soon as I got home, I purchased my first pair of Skechers Go Walk 2's. I've been a believer every since. I now own two pair myself and my bought my daughter a pair too and she LOVES them. Great for walking or everyday use. I wouldn't recommend them for jogging as they don't offer enough support.

Decent shoes for someone who's always on their feet.
I took a risk when buying these shoes. But $60 in store vs. half the price on amazon, I decided why not. Most of the reviews said these shoes made their feet uncomfortable/hurt and that they were cheap because they were made in china and were coming apart at the seams. Other reviews said they could walk around in them for hours on end and forget they were even wearing shoes. When I first wore my shoes they did hurt my feet but I've had them for 3 months now and they feel fine. I'm own my feet 8 hours a day at an assisted living facility and I can run errands after work, come home and my feet still feel great. I've washed them twice and they haven't fallen apart yet, but the blue stripe on the side of one shoe is fading. Also the bottom of the shoes seem to be losing the grip where the heels are. But I'm guessing that's due to all the walking around I do at work. They're still cushiony. As far as the look of the shoe. I've gotten many compliments on them at work. The shoes come with navy blue and lime green laces. I only wear the lime green though, so they'll stand out. You can also wear them without laces because the tongue of the shoe is sewn to the inside. I like that the little hole in the back of the heel makes it easier to slip the shoe on.Oh I almost forgot I wear an 8 but went up a half size because I knew I'd be wearing the shoes with socks. They fit fine. Sorry for this long review.

My daily shoe choice
Last June I went shoe shopping with some fairly picky demands. I was traveling, so I didn't want to have to pack a variety of shoes for different purposes if one pair could "multitask".1) I wanted something I could just slip on to run to the corner store, down to the laundry room, etc. Though these shoes have laces, I honestly can't think of the last time I retied them. They are flexible enough to slide on while tied.2) I wanted something that was supportive enough for city walking (no car) but still looked stylish enough to wear with shorts or even a casual summer sundress. These were remarkably comfortable given how lightweight they are.3) I wanted something I could wear in the summer rain. These shoes passed a brutal rainstorm that was so bad it shut down parts of the city, including the aforementioned corner grocery store! My apartment flooded, but the shoes splashed through puddles and dried like new.4) I have sensitive feet so they *cannot* rub and cause blisters (why I threw out my Converse midway through my last trip). I packed short socks but never ended up using them because the shoes were so comfortable without.Even now that I'm home, with a closet full of shoes, I find myself subconsciously reaching for this pair first. I don't think I have ever written a glowing review of shoes before, but there you have it.For the record: this review was written after 2.5 months of heavy use. I cannot speak to longevity, but I hope my review is helpful anyway.

Comfort & Style
As one ages, the padding on the ball of their feet tends to diminish. This can be extremely painful on those long walks or hikes; the pain kicks in at about the 3-mile mark, for me. I had been searching, trying on, and in some cases buying, shoes that seemed very comfortable at first; but, after testing them out, they had to be returned or donated. Very frustrating. I then came across a pair of Nike Rosches. They were so comfortable and cushy underfoot, and raved about by the sales clerk who had similar foot issues; however, I really didn't feel like spending the retail price for them at this point, so I searched some more. I finally found the Skechers Women's Go Walk 2-Stance sneakers. I tried them on and found them to be just as comfortable as the Nikes; however, this time, I did some price comparisons. I found that Amazon's price could not be beat! Needless-to-say, I ordered them from Amazon. Within 2-3 days, I had my new shoes and I have to say that I was not disappointed. I'm not saying they are perfect, but they come very close to it. After my 3.2 walk yesterday, my Skechers were still feeling just as comfortable as I had hoped they would. As for sizing, they seem to run a tad big, but with thick walking socks (for extra cushioning), and room for my feet to swell on those extra long walks, they are perfect!

Lovely walking shoes
I read several reviews on these before ordering and I can confirm what other people have said:- they are a little large for size - I have broad feet and take 7 usually so I ordered a 6 and a 7. The 6 fits snugly and the 7 is a bit roomy. I kept them both though as I ordered different colours. If you have regular size feet I expect you would need a smaller size;- they are extremely light, comfortable and flex as you walk - great if you're trying to walk briskly for exercise whilst trying to keep good posture;- they aren't waterproof but I think that's outweighed by their flexibility and the fact that they keep your feet cool;- can't comment on how long they will last as I've only worn them a few times. I will definitely buy more when these ones wear out though;- wide range of colours and they look good.Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Great shoes, so comfy, buy a size smaller....
I am a size 6 but after reading reviews I ordered a 5. They fit perfectly! Really lovely to walk in, like wearing slippers, and actually don't look bad with everyday clothes not just sport/leisure wear. Can wear without socks, they are really comfy but would get a bit hot and sweaty on a sunny day. Really happy with my purchase, very handy for walking the dogs but would also use for weekend city breaks or anything where a lot of walking is required.Don't feel these could ever rub my feet, I don't think I have ever owned any trainers I would be seen out in public in that are actually comfortable and won't rub! Worth every penny.

Walking, but better.
These are wonderful Spring/Summer trainers. You can wear them without socks, in fact it's better to wear them without socks as I felt my feet were slipping around inside them a bit while wearing them with socks. VERY light on the foot and walking in them is so comfortable. You can feel the air whistling through them which is lovely when it's hot. I don't think these would be good for the Autumn/Winter period though as your feet would be terribly cold. They run a little big in size. I'm a 7.5 so I normally order a size 8, but they were massive. When i exchanged them for a size 7, they fit much better but were still a little loose so I suggest going a size down from what you normally wear, unless you plan to wear thick socks with them. All in all, a wonderful pair of shoes. Very glad I got them.

WALKING ON AIR
The comfort of these is incredible, they really are lightweight, and perfect if you are on your feet all day. I personally prefer the " stance" range as they have laces so you can obviously choose how tight or loose you wear them, and all the stance range come with a spare pair of laces, quite often a different colour so you have choice as to your style preference. They are also great for wide feet that havnt been crushed by pointy shoes, the width at the top is quite generous.I have struggled for years with going on holiday and going bare foot in shoes as i find they rub, but these have padding around the back of the heel and inside the shoe and do NOT RUB AT ALL hence why i have now bought 5 pairs !!PLEASE NOTE - THE SIZES IN SKECHERS ALWAYS COME UP LARGE, SO ORDER A SIZE SMALLER THAN USUAL ;-)

Most comfortable shoes ever.
I never realised how comfortable shoes could be until I got these. I've been doing a lot of walking on holiday on city streets since I got them and never had any discomfort or problems.I was a bit concerned about buying shoes online because I have never bought shoes without trying them on first so, having read the reviews and being sometimes a size 6 and a half and sometimes a size 6, depending on the shoe, I decided firstly on lace up shoes, which someone (cannot remember who but thank you!) recommended to ensure a good fit, and secondly to get a size 6. They fit perfectly with thin socks (and probably with thicker socks, being lace ups). I prefer to wear socks with shoes so that was my choice. Had I intended to wear them without socks, I would have got a half size smaller.I also like the colour of these shoes. They are a soft grey with turquoise accents and I have worn them with a lot of different outfits and they have yet to look ill matched. All in all, a great buy.
