The Titan trash compactor works perfectly with the custom liners, not so much with standard kitchen garbage bags. I found that standard bags (I tried Husky) are made to stretch, which makes them less compatible with the compacting feature. The more trash is compacted, the more the bag stretches, thins, and tears. Standard bags also tend to stretch and tear around the mechanism. The custom liners are made of stronger plastic, and they are not stretchy. They maintain their size without stretching and tearing as trash is compacted. Bottom line: the Titan is a good product, with good design and good functionality with the custom liners. If you intend to use standard bags, get a standard can.

This is the 2nd one that I've gotten. The first one Broke within the first week of having it. The replacement that I have I waited for a few months before reviewing on here. short version: Their Bags rip 3rd Party bags slip compacted bags don't pull out without ripping Their trashbags break so it's best to use a different trash bag. HOWEVER, compacting it down with a different company the bags slip off of the holder. the compactor design also gets in the way when trying to pull out the trash bag. The trash gets so compacted that you can't pull it out without taking out the compactor handle, which isn't an easy thing to take in and out. Overall this thing is so much of a hassle to use that it's being used like a regular trash can for now while I look for a replacement. I can't use it as a compactor with the bags constantly slipping or it being too full it won't come out of the can without ripping.

Absolutely live this trashcan. Best one we have bought yet! We always condense our trash by shoving it down to utilize our trash bags. This is great and keeps you from having to decide when's a good time to do so without getting whatever is in your trash on your hands. Eww... Great purchase

I got this for my wife for Christmas I think two years ago? So we have had our share and time with it. When I initially ordered this? I thought it was like one I had at the place I was staying in LA. They had one with an electric trash compactor, that turned your trash into WALL-E cubes. This is NOT electric? This is like your great great grandmothers sewing machine you that was powered by her pumping her feet. This is all hand powered and it even says? Don't be putting anything but paper in here! It's not a magic pop can crusher or anything like that? With that in mind? PROS 1.) The touch free foot pedal is nice and we use it all the time? But my cousin Kip got a garbage can that opens via motion and opens automatically. I asked him how much his was? He said he got ripped off with a $69 price tag. I went into the other room and wept LIKE Joseph. 2.) Sturdy. We'll kind of? See cons. I def think Indy could survive a nuke in this thing. CONS 1.) the crushing crusher deal is pretty worthless. 2.) Custom liners are a pain. Not much else fits. (Regardless of what internet says. 3.) it arrived dented and it continues to dent. Very easily with little poke dents (see pic) 4.) It's very difficult to clean. You need to use special steel cleaners and even then? It does not look nice when you are done. 5) Filter cover at top? Love to try and kill it's self? Via jumping into trash. It's truly a miracle I've noticed each time.

I purchased this 6 mo ago. The product is what they suggest. It is more complex than a regular basket and can be broken if misused. Under responsible use I think it will last a long time. The bags it came with are quality, but they may make you think this doesn't work well. I ordered YUFDA 15 GALLON 50 LITRE 33 COUNT 25.6X29.5 -1.2 mil. This larger bag touches the bottom when fitted, and now is easy to fit and works as I hoped. For me I compress when possible and ignore for some fillings. I definitely feel I have upgraded to a better solution. Downgraded star for bag size problem only.

I love it I had 1 bag for the whole week! Instead of 3.

2/3くらいにはなっているかと思います。手も汚れませんし、良いです。専用の袋でなくても、45Lの厚手の袋であれば、問題なく使えました。なお、想像以上に大きいので、サイズはちゃんと測ると良いでしょう！ --- 2025/02/21 追記 レビューしたことなどすっかり忘れておりましたので、45Lの袋がいかに不便だったかを書き損じておりました。45Lだと、ゴミがたくさん入っていると、掛ける部分から外れてしまうため早々に別の袋を利用していました。 タイヨーのポリ袋80号が良いのですが、いま正規品の袋をみたら、同じくらいの価格...。袋が外れてイヤだなと思っている方は、正規品の袋を買うのがベストかもしれません。 そんなこんなで、久しぶりに正規品の袋を買いました。またレビューします。 1つ良い点は、タイヨーのポリ袋は、厚みがあってなかなか良いです。 正規品が0.028 mm、タイヨーのポリ袋が0.04mm厚だそうです。 別の話題ですが、↓の修理後、2台目が壊れました。 同じ部分が壊れたので、壊れやすいのかもしれませんし、使い方が雑なのかもしれません。 なお、交換修理ではなく、新品が送られてきました...。計3台に。 ありがたいけれど、廃棄するのも勿体ないし面倒ですし、そのまま壊れたものを自宅利用しています。ガッコンガッコンいっています。もう保証期間外なので、また壊れたら購入すると思います。 --- 2019/08/29 追記 先日、残念ながらペダルの裏が破損してしまったのですが、まさかの5年保証で無償修理となりました。心強い！

This is a great bin. I really like the concept of it being a compactor rubbish bin, which allows me rubbish to go into the bag but also doesnt take up as much room in the big bin outside. It is sturdy and good quality and easy to use. It has its own type of garbage bag which Ive purchased from Amazon as well. The bag hooks onto the inside of the bin to ensure that the bag remains in place evey time you use the lever to compact the rubbish. Whilst it is not cheap, you pay for the quality and how durable it is. Its worth the investment.
