I went out of town this weekend and took two bags: a small duffle and the Kate Spade Little Minka. This bag is perfect: slouchy enough to throw on and not look like it's trying too hard, but classic enough to wear for almost any occasion. As a heads up, it is bigger than a standard shoulder bag (but smaller than an attaché or briefcase.) That said, it's comfortable to wear either on the shoulder or slung cross-body style. It's my first bigger bag, and I couldn't be happier with it.

This looks like a nice handbag if you want to carry around a ton of stuff. Way too big for me.. returned it.

The snap did not close (the magnet didn't hold). The front zipper, is a waste, you couldn't even use it. It is cute, but not functional

The bag was sort of an awkward size - too small to be a nice big baggy shoulder bag, but too small to be a side bag that you wear on your hip with a shoulder strap. For that reason, I returned it! The leather was nice quality as you would expect from Kate Spade, but I couldn't get over the odd in between-ness of the size.

This bag is nice, the leather is soft.There is one think that I do not like that the handle is hard and heavy.

This bag is beautiful- gorgeous leather, gorgeous hardware, gorgeous style. It's classic but modern at the same time.The leather is very high quality - super soft and buttery - much higher quality than the Coach bags that I own! The hardware is a nice gold colour - not brassy or cheap looking. The bag has feet, which I really like - it helps it to stand and keeps the leather from sitting directly on the floor. Very well constructed!I love the large back pocket - It's large enough to hold my iPad. I also really like that there is a cross-body or shoulder option. The shoulder strap is very sturdy and a good size.

This bag was clearly not an authentic Kate Spade. Don't think it was even real leather. Checked the tag inside and it was a small tag that said "made in China". Went to Nordstroms and checked the tags inside the KS bags there and they all were the "Kate Spade, NY" tags. Plus the stitching on the handle was unraveling. When this price seems too good to be true......

I purchased the Kate Spade Little Minka at the Kate Spade 5th Avenue location in New York two years ago and I have loved it every second. My mother loved it also, and has pined for one of her own ever since. When this bag went on sale on Amazon for such an amazing price--I had some reasonable suspicions/reservations. I don't buy "luxury" goods on Amazon, so it was a risk.I'm not making any accusations, but the bag I received from Amazon is NOWHERE near as high quality as the bag I bought directly from Kate Spade in-person. The bag from KS was like butter with pristine hardware the second I got it home. The bag from Amazon is rougher, rigid, the stitching is imperfect, and the leather is just not the same quality.I hesitate to even gift this bag to my mother as a Christmas gift. I would not recommend buying this bag from Amazon.
