This fit the wall mount I had perfectly. I was hoping to get a black one, but the white was available. So glad I could find the same alarm that came in my camper when I purchased it.

Anyone who owns an RV knows that they are for the most part propane powered. This monitor replace the faulty one in our RV. It was an easy 5 minute install. Looks better than the ugly brown OEM one and my wife especially feels much safer not hearing the old one go off because it was faulty. Functions great and provides safety.

It satisfied the building inspector so that's great. Hope I never have to find out if it really works.

I have owned my camper for five years and did not know that the unit had an end of life cycle (five Years). At three o clock in the morning while camping with my grandson, the alarm went off scaring us to death, as this is a propane detector. after turning the propane off at the tanks we tried to figure out how to turn the blaring alarm off. Ended up cutting one of the wires. In the morning, looking through the stacks of paperwork that came with the camper, I found a small brochure about the unit.and that is when I found out about the end of life cycle. I did leave the propane turned off untill I replaced the unit. Ordered the unit from Amazon, connected the red and black wires and plugged into my existing wall mount. then tested it with a propane torch that I own. Worked perfectly.

Easy to install in my RV using existing 12 volt wiring under the bed. This unit seems to drain down my batteries. I've got 450 amp hour batteries that are well maintained and only a few years old fed by 200 watts of solar and a PWM charge controller. Every morning my batteries are down to around 70% and the only thing connected to them is this LP gas detector which is hard wired and runs all the time. I suppose you could wire in a switch and only turn it on when you are camping but I wanted something that simply ran all the time and was fool proof. Not sure if any unit would put this sort of drain on a battery bank or if I have a drain somewhere else.

Works like other i had before it went out. Super easy to install. And was 40 bucks cheaper than the rv place

Would have liked the option to purchase a black unit as it was replacing an existing one
